Caitlyn Jenner is getting more plastic surgery because she fears she's losing her feminine features and turning back into Bruce, claims a new tabloid report. The story, however, is completely made-up. Gossip Cop can debunk it. We're told it's not true.
"Caitlyn Gets A Bruce Scare!" reads a headline in the latest issue of In Touch. The accompanying article says the former Olympian doesn't feel as womanly as she once did. An alleged source tells the outlet, "She spent $500,000 on her face alone when she transitioned, and now she's in need of some maintenance because her feminine features are starting to disappear."
The supposed insider goes on to say that Jenner "doesn't want to see Bruce when she looks in the mirror," and to ensure that doesn't happen, she's "ready to drop another $500,000 on plastic surgery." The untraceable tipster adds, "She worked so hard to escape from Bruce, but he's creeping back up."
The magazine hides behind an unidentified and seemingly manufactured "source" to back up its story, but Gossip Cop reached out to Jenner's spokesperson, who tells us on the record it's "untrue." Despite what the tabloid's so-called "insider" claims, a rep qualified to speak on the reality star's behalf assures us she's not dropping major money on plastic surgery, nor does she fear she's turning back into "Bruce."
It bears mentioning how In Touch has already proven to have little insight into the former Olympic athlete's personal life. Back in April, Gossip Cop busted the publication for wrongly reporting that Jenner was planning a wedding with Sophia Hutchins. The two women aren't walking down the aisle together.
Back in 2017, Gossip Cop called out the tabloid for falsely claiming Jenner and O.J. Simpson were getting together for a TV reunion. The pair, who were acquaintances during Jenner's marriage to Kris, haven't reunited on-camera or off. Shortly before that, we debunked the outlet's bogus report about Jenner running for the "mayor of Malibu." The reality star hasn't pursued any sort of political office.
In 2016, Gossip Cop busted the publication for making up a story about Jenner adopting a baby boy. That phony report didn't pan out either. It should be noted, the reality star's spokesperson went on the record to dismiss every article mentioned above. It's safe to say Jenner's rep knows more about her personal life than In Touch's anonymous "sources." This latest storyline claiming the former Olympian is worried about becoming Bruce again is also nothing more than fiction.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
