Caitlyn Jenner is not moving to Idaho. A new report on Tuesday claims the star plans to live with her mom in the state and even turn the living arrangement into a reality TV show. But a rep exclusively tells Gossip Cop there's no truth to the allegations.
"So Long L.A.! Caitlyn & New Girlfriend Moving To Midwest Amid Kardashian Snub," reads the headline from RadarOnline. It's clear just from that title that this story is wrong as Jenner's spokesperson has already said she isn't dating anyone. Still, the webloid alleges the former Olympian is "ditching her Hollywood home for a quieter life in the Midwest," and "her new hot girlfriend Sophia Hutchins may very well be tagging along for the ride!" The site alleges Jenner is "cursed" and "aware that she's just about worn out her welcome in Los Angeles, both with the Kardashian family and the transgender community turning their backs on her."
As a result, contends the outlet, "she's come up with a novel plan to change her life — moving to rural Idaho with her ailing mom Esther and having the cameras document her every move!" A so-called "informant" is quoted as saying, "Caitlyn knows she will face a lot of backlash from the mainly conservative population in Idaho, but she sees it as a chance to redeem herself. The transgender community doesn't exactly welcome her in LA either so she's used to feeling judged and ostracized. Plus she wants to spend time with her mom in her twilight years."
And though "I Am Cait" ended more than a year ago, the online publication contends Jenner is "looking at the opportunity" to move "as another moneymaker" through a possible television series. "She's currently pitching the idea to reality TV execs," claims the webloid's alleged source. It's never said exactly how Hawkins supposedly fits in. And, curiously, the site also doesn't say how this move would affect Jenner's purported adoption plans. That was the narrative in May, when the outlet insisted she was "actively exploring the adoption process."
Of course, the publication was 100 percent wrong about that earlier this year, and it remains wrong when it comes to the star's life now. It is true that Jenner's mom lives in Idaho, and she is in fact elderly. But Jenner has no plans to relocate to Idaho, with or without Hutchins and a reality show deal. Her spokesperson exclusively tells Gossip Cop the report is "not true," just like the adoption tale. RadarOnline should probably find some better "informants" if it's going to keep making such big contentions about Jenner's life.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
