Caitlyn Jenner did not call her daughters Kylie and Kendall "a burden," despite a made-up report. The fabricated claim comes from HollywoodLife, a site that has been known to publish fake news and lies on occasion. And this is perfect example of the outlet's blatant disregard for the truth and accurate journalism.

HollywoodLies, as it's often called precisely because of this disingenuous type of behavior, asserts Jenner called her two biological daughters, Kendall and Kylie, a "burden" during an interview with Piers Morgan that aired on ITV in the U.K. on Thursday. The repeatedly discredited outlet begins its fake news story by contending, "Jenner not only slammed the Kardashians, she vented about the strain of raising Kylie and Kendall Jenner" during her interview with Morgan on "Life Stories." But the former Olympian never complained about Kylie and Kendall and she most assuredly did not call them "a burden."

After opining that Jenner's "comments are going to make for an awkward situation," HollywoodLies reiterates it contention that she called her daughters "a burden." The site then quotes Jenner telling Morgan, "I don't talk to the Kardashians anymore. The only ones I am concerned about are Kendall and Kylie. They are my biological kids. I spent 23 years carting them around." Those remarks are followed by the blog editorializing, "Whoa, whoa, whoa. Did Caitlyn just summarize her role as a parent as hauling around Kylie and Kendall for over two decades? That's a little... harsh."

But that's not what she said at all and none of the dozens of other outlets that reported on Jenner's interview with Morgan on "Life Stories" quoted her as saying anything resembling that her kids were a "burden." Simply, the blog concocted that in the same manner it manufactures scores of other untrue stories on its site. In the real world, where fake quotes aren't put into people's mouths, Jenner acknowledged that following the publication of her autobiography, The Secrets of My Life, the Kardashians stopped speaking to her because they were angered by passages in her book relating to the family's matriarch, Kris Jenner.

Caitlyn Jenner Kylie Kendall Burden

Contrary to the site's mischaracterization, Jenner lovingly said Kendall and Kylie were the "only ones I am concerned about." How is that "harsh"? And how can that be construed as them being a "burden"? Since HollywoodLife is so busy making up stories and spends too little time actually fact-checking, the unreliable outlet didn't realize Jenner's comment about spending "23 years carting them around" actually refers to the Kardashians.

How could Jenner spend 23 years "carting" his biological daughters around when Kendall just turned 22? HollywoodLies clearly has no idea that Jenner and Kris were married for 23 years before divorcing and, as a stepdad to her four children, she took her ex-wife's kids everywhere. Frankly, it appears the only "burden" is the one HollywoodLies has with being accurate and truthful.
