E! is NOT insisting Caitlyn Jenner return to “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” to increase ratings nor would Kris Jenner be upset by that, despite a new tabloid report. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct this claim. We’re told it’s “not true.”

“Cait’s Return Riles Kris,” reads a headline in this week’s OK!, which claims E! network executives have asked Caitlyn, much to Kris’s dismay, to return to “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” to help increase the show’s plummeting ratings. A so-called “source” tells the publication, “E! is insisting that Caitlyn comes back because she adds a lot of drama,” but it’s not sitting well with her ex-wife, with whom she makes no effort. “Every time they’re in a room together, Kris tenses up and reaches for the wine. She is still in a lot of pain,” claims the magazine’s alleged insider, adding, “The way Cait handled their split was petty and ugly.”

What’s more, Caitlyn’s relationship with Kourtney, Kim and Khloe Kardashian is still rocky, but she remains close to her biological kids, Kylie and Kendall Jenner, and has supposedly filmed some scenes for the show with them already. The tabloid’s questionable “source” further contends, “Kris has asked that Cait film scenes apart from her.” “The situation is making Kris sick, but she knows she has no choice,” concludes the magazine’s dubious tipster.

While very dramatic, it’s inaccurate. A rep for Kris exclusively assures us the tabloid’s report is “not true.” E! isn’t demanding Caitlyn return to the show to save the ratings of “Keeping Up With The Kardashians,” nor does the family matriarch oppose her ex being on the series.

Of course, Gossip Cop isn’t surprised by the publication’s fabricated article. We recently called out the unreliable tabloid for falsely alleging Caitlyn’s friends were begging her to take a break from plastic surgery. And shortly before that tall-tale, Gossip Cop debunked the outlet for wrongly claiming Caitlyn was “stressed” and “miserable” after the scrutiny of her transition and response to her show “I Am Cait.” Much like those ridiculous reports, this latest story is equally untrue.
