Caitlyn Jenner is not "livid" she wasn't part of Kris Jenner's new "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" deal with E!, despite a tabloid report. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct this claim. We're told it's "not true."
According to In Touch, Caitlyn is "done keeping up with the Kardashians, and it's not by choice." After noting how the reality TV family recently signed a $150 million contract that will keep the show on E! through 2019, a so-called "insider" is quoted telling the magazine how Caitlyn is "furious she was left out of the deal," which was negotiation by her ex-wife Kris. The outlet's alleged "insider" asserts, "There's still a lot of bitterness about how Caitlyn treated her and the rest of the family after her transition, as well as the things she wrote [in her 2016 memoir, The Secrets Of My Life]." "The Kardashians don't feel sorry for Caitlyn one bit, especially Kris," adds the tabloid's supposed source.
While it's true there's still a rift between Caitlyn and certain members of the Kardashian-Jenner family, the former Olympian never even tried or expected to be a part of the new deal with E!. She already hasn't been a regular of the show in several seasons. And the contention that Caitlyn's "livid" or "furious" that she wasn't included in the new contract is not only absurd but, as opposed to to the tabloid hiding behind unnamed, untraceable and seemingly made-up "insider," Jenner's rep assures Gossip Cop on the record that it's also 100 percent "not true."
Maybe it's time for the tabloid to find better Caitlyn sources. In the past, Gossip Cop has corrected a slew of inaccurate articles about her. For instance, two years ago we busted the magazine when it falsely claimed it had an "insider" who assured the outlet Caitlyn and Kris were getting remarried in a TV wedding. And a little more than a year and a half ago, we debunked the publication's cover story that quoted an "insider" as wrongly maintaining Caitlyn was adopting a baby boy (below).
To be sure, there have been numerous other tall tales from In Touch that were based on inaccurate information for an alleged "insider." Much like the ones cited and many more, the claim that Caitlyn is "livid" she wasn't included in the new $150 million "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" contract is similarly unfounded.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
