A new tabloid report claiming Caitlyn Jenner acts like a diva on planes is completely baseless. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct this claim. A rep for the reality star tells us it's nonsense, and there's plenty of evidence to back that up.
"Caitlyn Jenner's Not-So-Friendly Skies" reads a headline in the latest issue of Star. The accompanying article quotes an alleged source as saying, "You do not want Caitlyn on your plane. She's very particular and fussy. She brings her own pillow and blanket, complains about the food and even the alcohol. And if she doesn't like her seat... watch out."
According to the tabloid, the transgender star is rude to fellow passengers as well. "Caitlyn hates when people try to chat with her," says the questionable insider, who further contends she's studying to get her commercial pilot's license. However, that was first rumored in September 2016, but it was never confirmed and there's nothing to indicate that Jenner is pursuing the certificate. Still, the outlet's supposed tipster adds, "She'll be much happier when she's in the cockpit and can't be bothered by anyone."
This premise is coming from untraceable and anonymous sources, but Jenner's spokesperson offered Gossip Cop a different account of events. The reality star's rep tells us, "Being that she carried my baggage along with her own on our flight together today, I beg to differ. She's actually too friendly to other passengers." Evidence of this can be found online.
In February 2016, a passenger posted a photo on Twitter of Jenner posing with two smiling flight attendants. A few months later, a fan posted a photo of Jenner taking a selfie with her dad at the airport. Shortly after that, yet another photo emerged of Jenner posing with fans at an airpot.
Additionally, Jenner is also frequently seen taking selfies with her fans when she's not traveling, so the assertion that she doesn't like being bothered by people just isn't true. The reality star has even been spotted posing for photos with fans while grocery shopping and pumping gas. If she's happy to take pictures while running errands, there's no reason to believe she can't be bothered while sitting idly on an airplane.
It should be noted, many tabloids have an ongoing storyline about Jenner becoming a diva after transitioning into a woman. We've previously busted stories alleging the former Olympian was difficult at the 2015 ESPY Awards and at her country club. These claims were baseless, and Jenner was rarely if ever accused of being rude prior to transitioning.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
