Is Caitlyn Jenner taking over “Celebrity Apprentice” from Arnold Schwarzenegger?! That’s what a certain webloid is actually claiming. Gossip Cop looked into the allegation.

“John Cena and Caitlyn Jenner Tipped To Take Over ‘The New Celebrity Apprentice’ From Arnold Schwarzenegger,” announces Celeb Dirty Laundry, which writes, “Arnold Schwarzenegger might not be coming back for another season of ‘The New Celebrity Apprentice.’ This season has been one of the lowest rated in the show’s history, and NBC needs to make changes.”

And so, “Fans aren’t surprised that producers are already thinking about replacing Arnold Schwarzenegger for the next season,” contends the site, going on to claim, “Some insiders believe that John Cena would make a great host for the show. He already has plenty of experience hosting a good number of shows.”

CDL then alleges, “Reality television star Caitlyn Jenner is also tipped for the job. She hasn’t had any stable work ever since her E! docu-series ‘I Am Cait,’ was pulled off the air last year.” And, for good measure, the outlet adds, “Other television personalities like Mark Cuban and former ‘The Apprentice’ star Omarosa Manigualt [sic] are also being considered for the position.”

But this is all untrue. Neither Cena nor Jenner nor Manigault are moguls, so there’s no rationale for them to be the boss of a business competition. Furthermore, Manigault is currently working as a White House staffer for Donald Trump’s administration. As for Cuban, he’s already a part of a competing business-themed reality show, ABC’s “Shark Tank.”

Perhaps more so than the rest, though, involving Jenner seems particularly random. It’s possible Celeb Dirty Laundry got the idea after the star made a brief appearance on the “Celebrity Apprentice” finale earlier this week (see photo above). But, oddly, that’s not even mentioned in this article. And no proof is given, either, to back up the claim she’s “tipped for the job.” Now a rep for Jenner exclusively confirms to Gossip Cop the allegation is “nonsense.”
