Britney Spears Naked Staff

Britney Spears walks around naked in front of her staff, according to a suspicious new story from the tabloids. Gossip Cop has learned the eyebrow-raising tale is not true.

Ironically, the article is featured in OK! with the headline, “Britney’s Naked Truth.” “Truth” is often not something that goes along with this tabloid. In May, for example, Gossip Cop busted a fabricated cover story that falsely announced, “Pregnant Britney Married In Hawaii!” As we rightly noted at the time, the pop star was neither wed nor expecting. Now roughly five months have gone by, and it seems the gossip magazine is still publishing nonsense about the singer.

This new report notes that Spears often flaunts her body on Instagram (like in the photo above), and alleges she’s “taking it to extremes backstage at her Las Vegas show, where an insider says she routinely strips down after her performances and struts around naked.” This supposed “source” claims to the outlet, “Brit says it makes her feel sexy and empowered to be nude, and that more people should follow her lead.” The purported tipster goes on to contend that the singer’s personal staff is “used to it by now, but Vegas is another story.”

“There are people working on her show, including bodyguards and crew, who don’t know her as well, and it makes them uncomfortable,” asserts the publication’s snitch. “Everyone agrees that it’s good to love your body, but they wish she’d put a robe on!” The timing of these allegations, though, are very odd. The report focuses on Spears allegedly being naked at inappropriate times at her Las Vegas show, but the residency started nearly four years ago. In all that time, there hasn’t been similar claims. This story doesn’t even mention that concert series is ending in two months.

Instead, OK! has thrown out salacious contentions that seem to have been sparked simply because Spears has posted a number of body-baring pictures on social media. But these assertions aren’t just sordid. They’re serious, because unwanted nudity between a boss and employees can be deemed sexual harassment. This isn’t harmless gossip, but a consequential issue that is playing out in Hollywood right now with Harvey Weinstein and others. While the magazine may have thought it was being cheeky with a nudity-focused article about a hot celebrity, it should’ve considered the implications of making such untrue claims. Regardless, a rep for Spears confirms to Gossip Cop that this untoward story has no merit.
