Britney Spears' family is not worried that she's headed for "another meltdown," despite a made-up report. Gossip Cop can exclusively debunk this claim. We're told it's entirely untrue.
Spears is currently in a legal battle with ex-husband Kevin Federline over child support, and now according to RadarOnline, the singer's loved ones fear she may spiral out of control over the stress of the situation. An alleged insider tells the blog that "all the ugliness with Kevin" has taken a toll on Spears' emotional well-being. "She feels the weight of the world on her shoulders right now, and her family's desperately worried about her," adds the questionable tipster.
Meanwhile, the site further contends that Spears is also preoccupied with starting a family with boyfriend Sam Asghari. "All she can talk about right now is having a baby," adds the suspicious source. "She wants a girl so bad and she's madly in love with Sam." Her supposed desire to have a baby coupled with the drama involving Federline could lead to "a breaking point," alleges the outlet. The "insider" adds, "There are still some major demons that Britney has to fight on a daily basis."
None of this is accurate. For starters, the singer's own social media page proves she's in good spirits. Last week, Spears shared an Instagram photo from a trip to Miami, noting she was "having the best time" on vacation. The singer also shares many photos of her spending quality time with her two sons. Last month, Spears posted an Instagram video of her painting canvases with her boys, along with caption, "Painting feels so therapeutic to me! Getting to do this with my boys on a beautiful day like this is such a blessing!!!" The pop star also uses her social media account to share inspirational quotes with her followers. It's clear she's in a good state of mind and staying positive amid her troubles with Federline.
The additional claim about the singer being eager to get pregnant isn't true either. For starters, Spears will be on her international Piece of Me tour from July through October. The singer won't have nine months off to carry a child anytime soon. In addition to all of the evidence disproving RadarOnline's article, a Spears insider tells Gossip Cop on background that she's doing well, and the magazine's claim otherwise is simply "not true." We're further assured that the singer's loved ones haven't expressed any fears about an impending "meltdown."
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
