Has Britney Spears been inspired by Khloe Kardashian's pregnancy to have another baby of her own? That's the latest claim from one certain webloid. Gossip Cop can set the record straight.
According to the serial fabricators at HollywoodLife, the singer "has always wanted a little girl," and is allegedly looking at celebrities like Kardashian, who is having a baby with NBA player Tristan Thompson, as "inspiration to expand her family." In the bogus piece, a so-called "source" is quoted as saying, "Britney's turning 36 in a couple of months and she feels like she's running out of time to have more kids." The outlet's predictably fake "insider" goes on to contend, "She's trying not to rush things with Sam [Asghari], but it's hard for her not to put the pressure on. She wants to have a little girl so bad and her clock is ticking."
The website's questionable "source" further purports, "Her goal is to get pregnant next year," and it's just a "matter of getting Sam on board. A lot of people have told her that he's too young, that it won't happen, but she's not listening." Adds the outlet's alleged tipster, "She sees other women that are having babies with younger guys and it gives her a lot of hope. Britney loves talking about how Khloe is having a baby with Tristan even though he's so much younger, it makes her feel like she can do it too."
Oddly enough, this fabricated article is coming from the same website that previously claimed Spears was "concentrating on her career" and didn't want any more children. Evidently, the aptly nicknamed HollywoodLies can't even keep their bogus stories straight, and that's where Gossip Cop comes in. Notwithstanding the amount of falsehoods the outlet has posted about the singer, we still looked into the claim, and a source close to Spears tells us the report is "made-up." Spears has not been "inspired" by the reality star's pregnancy, nor does she desperately want to have a little girl with Asghari. The story is completely manufactured, all in the name of online traffic.
Of course, as we noted above, the often disproven website doesn't have the best track record when it comes to reporting on the star. Just last month, Gossip Cop corrected the outlet for claiming to know Spears' reaction to Justin Timberlake's interest in performing at next year's Super Bowl halftime show. And in a similarly ludicrous report, we called out the site for falsely alleging Spears was "terrified" of ever working with Timberlake. Much like those tall tales, its newest one is equally as phony.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
