A tabloid report claiming Brie Larson is hated by all of her Avengers: Endgame co-stars is completely untrue. Gossip Cop can debunk the phony premise. It's simply not the case.
According to OK!, however, the Captain Marvel star has a "big head" and "tends to act like a hotshot," despite being a new addition to the Marvel franchise. A unnamed source tells the magazine, "Because she had a rough childhood, she's been touted as a rags-to-riches story, and now she believes her own hype. Most of the time she comes off as rude with a total 'me first' attitude."
The alleged insider further contends Larson's personality "doesn't exactly gel well" with rest of her castmates. "People don't mind if she's spunky, but not if it comes at the expense of promoting this huge movie that everybody has worked so hard on," adds the unidentifiable tipster. "Brie may act like she rules the Marvel franchise, but the rest of them having been playing this game for a long time."
Here's what's really happening. During interviews promoting Avengers: Endgame, Larson has had some playful spats with her other co-stars, including Chris Hemsworth. This has led to fan theories that the original Avengers stars don't get along with the newest addition to the franchise. Last month, however, Don Cheadle debunked rumors of Larson feuding with the cast. After some Twitter users speculated this might be the case, Cheadle responded, "you kids are hilarious... whoever you are, you're reading in. take a break from your detective work. we're all good. hope you enjoy the movie."
Meanwhile, when Captain Marvel scored big at the box office back in March, Captain America star Chris Evans took to Twitter to congratulate Larson. The actor wrote, "Boom!! Congrats @brielarson well deserved!!" Additionally, when Larson got emotional during a Marvel fan event in Korea, Robert Downey Jr. hugged the actress and kissed her on the head for comfort. And during an "Entertainment Tonight" interview last month, when Larson was asked if she stole anything from the Avengers: Endgame set, Hemsworth responded, "You stole our hearts."
Despite all of the evidence disproving the magazine's premise, Gossip Cop still checked in with Larson's spokesperson, who confirms she gets along well with the cast of Avengers: Endgame. The idea that the actress has a big ego and is rubbing her co-stars the wrong way is totally baseless.
Unfortunately, this wouldn't be the first time that OK! has attempted to throw the actress into an imaginary feud. Gossip Cop previously busted the magazine for falsely claiming Larson was in a "bitter rivalry" with Jennifer Lawrence. In reality, the two actresses are friends. This latest article pitting Larson against her Avengers: Endgame co-stars is more nonsense.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
