As Gossip Cop has reported, the “Today” show hosts concerts all year long with its Citi Concert Series. The biggest shows, however, typically take place during the summer months. And while these events are usually held on Fridays, every now and then the morning show switches up the day of the week. Such was the case with Eldredge’s concert taking place on Monday.

Despite some rain, devoted fans were ready to watch their favorite country star perform outside the “Today” show studio in Rockefeller Plaza. Ponchos helped keep concertgoers dry, and Eldredge certainly lifted spirits when Hoda Kotb brought him into the crowd for some impromptu selfies. “We’re gonna go in the back,” Kotb said. “People waited a long time.” There, one fan held a sign that said, “It’s my 30th birthday. Is a selfie something you’re good at?” The line, of course, was a reference to Eldredge’s song, “Something I’m Good At.”

The track, which he performed today, was released back in February as the lead single to the singer’s fourth album. The fun-spirited, uptempo ditty hit numbers 21 and 22 on the Country Airplay and Hot Country Songs charts, respectively. The album, which is self-titled, just dropped on Friday, and features “The Long Way,” which Eldredge also played for the “Today” show crowd. In addition, the performer sang “Drunk On Your Love” and “Wanna Be That Song,” which are beloved singles from his 2015 hit album, Illinois.

Interestingly, this marked two country concerts in a row for the “Today” show after Brad Paisley performed on Friday. As Gossip Cop reported at the time, the rain forced his set indoors, but Eldredge had a little better luck with the weather. Watch the videos below!
