Bradley Cooper's love life has been the subject of many bogus tabloid stories over the years. Gossip Cop has debunked several articles surrounding the actor's nonexistent romances with other stars. Here are a few wrong rumors.
Of course, the actor has been wrongly linked to Lady Gaga following the chemistry they displayed on screen in A Star Is Born. The most recent example of the ongoing saga came earlier this week when Gossip Cop busted Woman's Day Australia for falsely claiming Cooper had "dumped" Gaga. Only, one can't exactly "dump" a person they're not dating. In February, the singer herself confirmed on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" that there's no romance between her and Cooper. Separate reps for both stars have assured us of this every time the tabloids come up with new takes on the subject.
Gossip Cop has also debunked countless articles about Bradley Cooper dating frequent co-star Jennifer Lawrence. Back in 2015, we called out OK! for publishing a phony cover story about Cooper developing a romance with the actress following his split from Suki Waterhouse. Over the years, however, Cooper and Lawrence have repeatedly shut down rumors about them being in a relationship, including during a joint interview at the Golden Globes. A few months after we corrected the tabloid's report, the actor confirmed on "The Howard Stern Show" that his relationship with Lawrence has always been platonic.
Gossip Cop busted In Touch back in 2011 for making up a story about Jennifer Aniston "falling in love" with Cooper. The magazine maintained that the two stars were in a serious romance, but the actress was headed for "heartbreak" because the actor had commitment issues. The report was based on claims from an anonymous "insider," but Aniston's rep told us on the record that it was "completely fabricated." The storyline emerged because the two once shared a meal together, but Cooper himself later explained, "She's simply a friend."
Gossip Cop also called out Life & Style in 2011 for wrongly reporting that Cooper was dating Olivia Wilde. The inaccurate report came on the heels of the two stars hanging out at an afterparty for the premiere of The Hangover Part II. Reliable sources assured us the two were just friends, and as time has proven, they never got together romantically.
As for the actor's real-life romance, Cooper has been in a committed relationship with supermodel Irina Shayk since 2015. The couple shares a two-year-old daughter and split their time between New York City and Los Angeles. Unfortunately, the tabloids have published many false stories lately about the happy couple being on the verge of a split. This couldn't be further from the truth, unlike all of the stories mentioned above.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
