A tabloid report claiming Bradley Cooper warned Robert Pattinson against dating his ex-girlfriend Suki Waterhouse is completely made-up. Gossip Cop can debunk the bogus story. There's no truth to it.

Pattinson and Waterhouse's romance was confirmed last week when the two were spotted during a date night in London. Cooper split from the model in 2015 after two years of dating, and now according to OK!, the actor reached out to Pattinson after learning of their new relationship. An alleged insider tells the magazine, "Bradley felt that Suki put a lot of pressure on him to help her make Hollywood connections" and he fears she's "using Rob to boost her career."

The supposed source goes on to say that Cooper doesn't know Pattinson well, but "felt like letting Rob know about his experience was the right thing to do." The seemingly phony tipster adds, "While Suki puts out a boho hippie vibe, Bradley let Rob know she can be a shark."

The magazine's premise is entirely fabricated. Separate sources close to both Cooper and Pattinson tell Gossip Cop on background that the outlet's account of events never happened. The tabloid simply seems to be roping Watherhouse's ex-boyfriend into her new romance with Pattinson.

E! News, a much more reliable celebrity news outlet than OK!, reported at the time of Cooper and Waterhouse's breakup that they parted ways amicably. The reputable website noted, "They remain friends but they both want different things right now." One of those differences included disagreements over starting a family, which Cooper later did with Irina Shayk. No legitimate publication said anything about their relationship ending because the model was using the actor for fame.

Unfortunately, we're not surprised by the magazine's phony story, considering its long history of publishing lies about both actors involved in this article. Just last month, Gossip Cop busted the tabloid for wrongly reporting that Pattinson was dating Sienna Miller. Less than two weeks after we debunked the romance rumors, news emerged of the actor's relationship with Waterhouse.

In late 2014, Gossip Cop called out OK! for making up a phony story about Cooper dating Jennifer Lawrence. The frequent co-stars have never been romantically involved. And in January 2015, we busted the tabloid's sister outlet, Star, when it falsely claimed that Waterhouse was pregnant with the actor's baby. The exes split two months later and they obviously never had a child together. This latest article about Cooper warning Pattinson's not to date the model is more nonsense.

Our Verdict

Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
