Bradley Cooper is not “heartbroken” over Lady Gaga‘s new relationship with her audio engineer, Dan Horton, despite a false tabloid report. The actor and his A Star Is Born co-star were never dating, meaning he has no reason to be upset about her new romance. Gossip Cop can clear up the situation.
In late July, several photos emerged of Gaga kissing Horton during a lunch date in Los Angeles. This inspired OK! Australia to publish a cover story featuring the headline, “The Pics That Broke Bradley’s Heart.” According to the magazine, the singer is just playing a “cat-and-mouse game” to make Cooper jealous because she’s angry that he hasn’t committed to her following his recent split from Irina Shayk.
The outlet goes on to describe Gaga’s supposed ploy as “brilliantly executed,” insisting that she’s successfully showed Cooper “what he’s missing” by not settling down with her. The tabloid further maintains that the actor has been “hesitant about going public with another relationship” so soon after his breakup from Shayk, but he’s still bothered by the photos of Gaga kissing Horton.
As Gossip Cop has continuously stressed, Gaga and Cooper have never been romantically involved. Reps for both stars have said this on the record several times, while the singer herself confirmed it on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” in February. The idea that Cooper is “heartbroken” over photos of his co-star kissing another man simply isn’t true.
Unfortunately, the tabloids have been coming up with variations of this narrative ever since the PDA pictures emerged. Earlier this month, we busted Woman’s Day for wrongly reporting that Gaga had “moved on” from Cooper with a new man. One can’t “move on” from someone they were never dating.
Shortly after that, Gossip Cop called out Star for falsely claiming Gaga was faking her new romance to make Cooper jealous. Just a few days later, In Touch maintained that the only reason Gaga started a new romance is because Cooper refused to commit to her. Basically, the gossip media saw images of the singer kissing her audio engineer and decided to invent ways to involve Cooper into the narrative.
It must also be mentioned, OK! Australia has trouble keeping track of its phony reports. Around two weeks ago, the tabloid asserted that Cooper was trying to convince Gaga to “go public” with their “romance,” but the singer was “afraid of being branded a home-wrecker.” This latest article, which claims Cooper is the one who didn’t want to “go public,” is a complete contradiction. Meanwhile, Gossip Cop busted the outlet in March for falsely claiming Gaga and Cooper were moving in together. The reason these countless stories don’t gel with each other is because there’s no truth to them.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
