Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga are not house-hunting in Los Angeles, despite a new tabloid report claiming the two are moving in together and getting engaged. Gossip Cop can debunk the ridiculous story. As we've made clear several times already, the A Star Is Born co-stars aren't romantically involved.
According to OK!, however, Cooper and Gaga have been having a "secret affair" for quite some time and they're now getting ready for "their next chapter together." An alleged insider tells the magazine, "The movie's come and gone but it's not the end of the road for them. Gaga and Bradley are totally smitten, anyone can see that. There have been hints that they're an item for some time, and they could be getting ready to go public with their romance."
The supposed source further contends that Cooper's relationship with Irina Shayk, with whom he shares a 2-year-old daughter, is "as good as done," adding, "It's safe to say they were faking it for the cameras, and now that the red carpets are over, she intends to leave him in the dust." The questionable tipster goes on to say the Russian supermodel is "moving out and taking their daughter with her."
From there, the seemingly nonexistent insider maintains that Cooper and Gaga are "looking for a love nest to call their own," and their friends believe that once they settled in, "a proposal is likely to follow." The so-called "source" concludes, "Moving in together is a huge step, but the right one. They feel like they're soulmates. It's only going to be a matter of time before they share that with the world."
The tabloid's report is a complete work of fiction. It's also poorly-timed. Cooper and Shayk were spotted grabbing lunch together in New York City on Tuesday. The happy couple, who have homes in both New York and Los Angeles, are still very much together.
Just a few weeks ago, Gaga dismissed the romance rumors surrounding her and Cooper during an appearance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live." Separate reps for both the singer and the actor have also told us several times on the record that their relationship is friendly and professional. Still, Gossip Cop once again checked in with Gaga's spokesperson, who confirms that this latest tale about the two moving in together and getting engaged is more nonsense.
It's worth noting, Gossip Cop called out the Australian version of OK! last week for publishing a phony cover story about Cooper and Gaga moving in together. The narrative wasn't true then and it's no more accurate now.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
