A tabloid report claiming Bradley Cooper has "dumped" Lady Gaga is completely absurd. For starters, one can't "dump" someone they were never dating. Gossip Cop can debunk the bogus story.
According to Woman's Day Australia, Cooper has ended his so-called "romance" with the singer now that the Oscars campaign for A Star Is Born is over. The unreliable outlet says Gaga believed her co-star was preparing to dump his girlfriend Irina Shayk, with whom he shares a two-year-old girl, but instead he's "abandoned" the singer.
An alleged insider tells the magazine, "She feels like she was encouraged to let the whole world see how much she loved him, only for him to ditch her when the promotional trail was over." The supposed source further contends that the reason Gaga celebrated her 33rd birthday in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico last month was to "party her woes away." The questionable tipster adds, "Spending her birthday without a man in Cabo was a real low point for her, especially given her amazing start to the year."
As Gossip Cop has made clear countless times, Cooper and Gaga have never been romantically involved. Separate spokespeople for both stars have gone on the record to dismiss the ongoing rumors they're a real-life couple. Meanwhile, Gaga herself debunked the dating rumors surrounding her and Cooper during an appearance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" in February. The actor has been in a committed relationship with Shayk for several years.
In the fantasy world created by Woman's Day, Cooper had been cheating on the mother of his child with Gaga for the purposes of winning Oscars, only to "dump" the singer now that awards season has ended. This premise is both false and ludicrous. Back in February, Gossip Cop busted the tabloid for wrongly insisting Cooper was leaving Shayk for Gaga. This latest storyline is contradictory and similarly made-up.
In January, Gossip Cop called out the magazine for falsely claiming Cooper and Shayk's relationship was "ending" over Gaga. Now that it's become clear the actor and the supermodel are still going strong, the outlet is simply attempting to weasel out of its initial narrative. The tabloid's previous articles about the A Star Is Born co-stars dating were complete fiction, and this latest one about them breaking up is equally baseless.
Here's what's really happening. Cooper and Gaga have been spending less time together now that the promotional circuit for their movie has wrapped up. However, they're still close friends. Woman's Day, which has spent months alleging the two were hooking up, is trying to come up with an excuse as to why they haven't been photographed together as of late. The real reason is that the actor is devoted to his girlfriend and their daughter, as has always been the case.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
