Is Bradley Cooper warning Irina Shayk to stop "spilling his secrets"? That's the claim in one of this week's tabloids. Gossip Cop looked into the situation and we can set the record straight.
According to Star, the relationship between the exes has become more strained than ever as the supermodel has been going around slamming the A Star Is Born actor. "She's been out and about, mingling with a loose-lipped crowd, and he doesn't like it one bit," a supposed source tells the magazine. The outlet doesn't bother to elaborate on who's a part of this "loose-lipped crowd."
The alleged insider adds, "She's been dissing Bradley around town, saying he's a bore and a cheapskate and a lousy lover who wouldn't know how to please a woman if his life depended on it." The suspicious tipster goes on to say that Cooper has ordered Shayk to "zip it or else," but "she's not taking his threats seriously." The magazine doesn't explain what these alleged "threats" entail.
The tabloid is inventing imaginary drama for no reason. Back when Cooper and Shayk split in June, People magazine reported that they're remaining on friendly terms for the sake of their 2-year-old daughter. TMZ similarly reported that Cooper and Shayk agreed to share joint custody of their daughter, but don't have a formal agreement in writing because they're on the same page. There's nothing to indicate anything has changed. The exes are remaining cordial and acting in the best interests of their little girl.
Gossip Cop checked in with our own source close to the situation, who confirms that the tabloid's report is nonsense. Shayk hasn't been going around bashing Cooper or revealing any of his so-called "secrets." It seems Star doesn't find it interesting that a former couple has stayed on good terms, so it came up with this bogus storyline instead.
Back in March, Gossip Cop busted Star for falsely claiming Lady Gaga was pregnant and the baby might belong to Cooper. The singer wasn't expecting anyone's child, let alone one belonging to her former co-star. Cooper and Gaga have never been romantically involved at all.
A few weeks later, the magazine dropped that scenario altogether. Instead, the tabloid said Gaga was "torn between" Cooper and Jeremy Renner. The singer wasn't in any sort of love triangle with the two actors. Star has now set aside Gaga to focus on nonexistent tension between Cooper and Shayk. The outlet has zero insight into any of this.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
