Bradley Cooper and Irina Shayk's relationship has been the subject of many false tabloid stories as of late. Gossip Cop has debunked several phony articles about the couple. Here are five recent wrong rumors.
Last week, Gossip Cop busted Star for falsely claiming that Cooper didn't invite his girlfriend to some premieres of A Star Is Born because he wanted to walk the red carpet with Lady Gaga instead. However, the real reason the supermodel skipped some of the premieres is because Cooper and Shayk have a very private relationship that they choose to keep out of the spotlight. The actor even explained on "The Howard Stern Show" that he doesn't want to display his relationship on a red carpet and be scrutinized by the media.
Gossip Cop called out Life & Style last week for wrongly reporting that Cooper stays at Gerard Butler's apartment in New York City after getting into fights with his girlfriend. The magazine alleged that Shayk has major jealousy issues and it was resulting in nonstop arguments. Around the same time the phony article was published, photos emerged of Cooper and Shayk looking "completely smitten" while strolling through NYC. The drama was completely fabricated.
Also last week, Woman's Day Australia made up a story about Shayk being upset over Cooper's "flirty friendship" with Lady Gaga. The outlet contended that the model as worried about the singer getting too cozy with her boyfriend. The magazine didn't mention that Gaga is engaged to talent agent Christian Carino, so it's not as if she's single and about to pursue her co-star. Regardless, a reliable source assured Gossip Cop the article was bogus.
Gossip Cop shot down a Star story earlier this month that said Cooper wanted Shayk to give up her modeling career. The phony article lacked details and didn't even state the reason why the actor wanted his girlfriend to stop working. It also falsely alleged that the two were having relationship problems over the situation. Only, Cooper and Shayk have been spotted taking strolls with their baby daughter in New York City several times this month. Various photos from their outings showed the two laughing with their arms wrapped around each other.
And finally, Gossip Cop busted In Touch earlier this month for falsely claiming that Cooper and Shayk were headed for a split over his friendship with Gaga. The magazine said that the model was jealous of their close bond and that Cooper spent more time raving about his co-star in interviews than he did about her. The premise made little sense. Cooper has been promoting his new movie, not his private relationship, so of course he'd be talking about Gaga in interviews. Regardless, Shayk recently told "Extra" that she's proud of Cooper and all the success he's having with A Star Is Born. The happy couple is going strong, despite all the tabloid stories claiming otherwise.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
