Are Bradley Cooper and Irina Shayk fighting because he refuses to marry her? That's the claim in one of this week's tabloids. Gossip Cop can clear up the situation.

The actor and the model have been dating since 2015 and share a nearly two-year-old daughter together, but they've yet to tie the knot. According to Star, Shayk is becoming fed up with her boyfriend's unwillingness to walk down the aisle, so much so that she's ready to end their relationship if he doesn't propose.

"She's giving Bradley a hard time for not coming through for her as he promised," says the magazine's alleged insider, adding that the model had expected an engagement ring following the birth of their daughter in March 2017. Cooper wed actress Jennifer Esposito in 2006, but their marriage lasted less than a year. The supposed source contends that the actor is "still scarred by the whole thing," and it's the primary reason he won't make Shayk his wife.

"He wants to keep things going as they are now, but Irina's become increasingly frustrated," adds the questionable tipster. "Bradley doesn't respond well from this kind of pressure, but Irina really thought she'd be married by now — and she means business!"

The tabloid's account of the couple's relationship simply isn't accurate. Cooper and Shayk choose to keep their romance very private, and the they make few red carpet appearances together. However, the Russian model supported her boyfriend at the Golden Globes this past Sunday. In fact, Harper's Bazaar dedicated an article to all the PDA Cooper and Shayk "snuck in" during the ceremony.

After holding hands and smiling on the red carpet, the model was spotted fixing Cooper's tie at their table. Shayk was also photographed putting her hand on her boyfriend's leg and resting her head on his shoulder during the awards show. Simply put, it's apparent the two aren't on the verge of a split over a supposed disagreement about getting married.

It's worth noting, there have been theories that Cooper and Shayk are already secretly engaged, as the model has been spotted wearing the same emerald diamond on many occasions. Gossip Cop, however, hasn't been able to confirm whether or not the jewelry is an engagement ring. The actor and the model are very private when it comes to their relationship, but whatever their situation entails, it's obviously working for both of them just fine. The tabloid's alleged drama is baseless.

It should be mentioned, Star constantly attempts to create nonexistent problems between the happy couple. Gossip Cop recently busted the tabloid for falsely claiming that Cooper refused to invite his girlfriend to the premiere of A Star Is Born because he wanted to walk the red carpet with Lady Gaga instead. Shortly before that nonsense, the magazine made up a story about Cooper forcing Shayk to give up modeling. This latest article about the couple is similarly bogus.

Our Verdict

Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
