A new tabloid report claims to have exclusive details all about how Bradley Cooper is struggling with being a new father. But Gossip Cop looked into this report, and we can set the record straight.

As Gossip Cop reported, the actor’s girlfriend Irina Shayk gave birth to a baby girl named Lea De Seine earlier this year, but now OK! purports that Cooper is buckling under the stress of parenthood. A supposed “source” tells the magazine that the actor keeps scrutinizing his girlfriend’s mothering skills, “fussing nonstop over everything from baby feeding times to changing times and looking over Irina’s shoulder making sure she’s doing things by the book.”

The outlet’s dubious insider further contends that Cooper’s supposed micromanaging is “driving Irina nuts” and he’s unnecessarily “stressing himself out.” The “source” goes on to claim that the actor’s worries have even carried over to his professional life, as he’s now “become a paranoid nightmare, worrying about every detail” while shooting his directorial debut A Star Is Born.

Of course, caring for a baby is inherently stressful, especially for a first-time parent, but the magazine’s account of events is entirely fabricated. Gossip Cop checked in with a reliable source close to the situation, who exclusively assures us Cooper isn’t collapsing under the pressures of fatherhood.

Unfortunately, the inaccuracy of the tabloid’s story isn’t too surprising. Gossip Cop previously busted OK! for falsely claiming that Cooper ditched Shayk at the Met Gala. We also called out the magazine’s sister outlet, RadarOnline, for wrongly alleging Cooper and Shayk were “on the rocks” shortly before their baby was born. Those articles were entirely unfounded, and the same goes for this latest one.
