Bradley Cooper broke up with Irina Shayk in April 2019. Since then, the tabloids have linked him to Angelina Jolie, Jennifer Lawrence, Jennifer Garner, Jennifer Aniston, and of course, Lady Gaga. None of the stories were true. Gossip Cop can clear things up.
Of all the relationship rumors surrounding Cooper, nothing compared to how often the tabloids tried to pair him with his A Star Is Born co-star, Lady Gaga. The false reports started long before Cooper even broke up with Shayk. Back in early January, In Touch purported Gaga and Shayk were fighting over Cooper at the Golden Globes. The publication had previously connected Cooper with Gaga last October. Gossip Cop debunked the story as false.
That wasn’t the last time though, by a long shot. Gossip Cop has debunked an astounding 45 stories involving an alleged a romantic relationship between Gaga and Cooper. The stories included ridiculous claims like Cooper hiding out with Gaga in her Malibu mansion and even Gaga having Cooper’s baby. The tabloids invented stories about Gaga asking Cooper to marry her, and accused Gaga of stealing him from Shayk. Each story was false. The two have never dated.
If Gaga was the most popular celebrity connected to Cooper, Angelina Jolie wasn’t far behind. In fact, in recent months, this bogus rumor has been a hot topic in the gossip media. In September, NW accused Cooper and Jolie of having “secret sleepovers” – like they were eighth graders sneaking around behind their parents’ backs. According to the bogus report, they weren’t sneaky enough to avoid the wrath of Brad Pitt, who supposedly warned Cooper to “run for the hills.” The whole premise, including the many other stories written about Cooper and Jolie’s relationship, was nonsense. Gossip Cop busted them all.
In June, it wasn’t Jolie, but another of Pitt’s exes, Jennifer Aniston, that was supposedly getting close to Cooper. NW asserted that Gaga and Aniston were fighting over Cooper’s attention after his breakup with Shayk. That phony article quoted a so-called “source” as saying that Aniston “has high hopes that it could be the start of something serious between them.” The two were also supposedly going on “secret” dates. There were no dates or secrets, as Gossip Cop pointed out at the time.
Another one of Cooper’s co-stars, Jennifer Lawrence, was also thrown into the mix. In January, OK! alleged Lawrence was jealous of Cooper and Gaga’s relationship. This was despite Cooper still dating Shayk at the time, and Lawrence being engaged to Cooke Maroney, who she recently married. While the tabloid soft-peddled the romance angle with Lawrence in the article, the implication it was making, connecting Cooper to another Hollywood A-lister, was obvious. Once again, Gossip Cop debunked the rumor.
Finally, it was a third Jennifer that the tabloids linked up with Cooper. In the wake of Jennifer Garner officially divorcing from Ben Affleck last year, and Cooper’s breakup with Shayk, Woman’s Day contended that Cooper and Garner were more than just friends. The phony report claimed Cooper was leaning on his former Alias co-star. A supposed source said, “No one would be surprised if they’re finally taking their friendship to the next level.” They weren’t, as Gossip Cop pointed out. This was just a tabloid’s attempt to sell papers by connecting two big name stars. Just like all these silly stories were.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
