A new tabloid story claims Angelina Jolie fears that Brad Pitt is writing a tell-all book about their marriage, but no such publication will be hitting shelves anytime soon. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct this fake news.

According to Life & Style, the actor has been journaling about his divorce from Jolie for therapeutic purposes. A supposed “source” tells the magazine that he’s “completed almost 300 pages” so far and is being “very blunt in describing what led to the breakdown of his marriage.” The outlet’s dubious insider goes on to say that Jolie is worried about her estranged husband releasing his writings to the public “because of the impact it could have on their kids.”

The tabloid goes on to claim that Pitt told the actress he doesn’t intend to tarnish her reputation in his journal, but instead largely blames himself for their relationship falling apart. “Brad’s true goal is to help others going through similar issues,” adds the seemingly phony source.

But Gossip Cop checked in with a trustworthy source close to the actor, who had no knowledge of Pitt keeping a journal about his estranged wife. A mutual pal of ours and Jolie further assured us the actress isn’t worried about her estranged husband writing a tell-all book about her. Unfortunately, this article is simply the latest fabrication in a long line of the magazine’s bogus reports about the former couple.

Earlier this month, Gossip Cop called out Life & Style for publishing an inaccurate cover story claiming that Pitt and Jolie were back together. Shortly before that nonsense, we debunked the tabloid’s phony report about Pitt getting plastic surgery because he felt his divorce had damaged his looks. This latest article is simply more lies from the frequently discredited outlet.
