Brad Pitt does NOT have secret tapes of Angelina Jolie that he plans on using to “destroy” her and win custody of their children, despite a made-up tabloid report. Gossip Cop can exclusively bust this claim. We’re told it’s not true.
The actress has requested sole physical custody of the ex-couple’s six children, but according to In Touch, the actor has a new plan to ensure he’ll get joint custody. A so-called “source” tells the magazine, “He told people that he has in his possession audio tapes of Angie ranting and raving. They didn’t involve the kids, but he is prepared to introduce them in a family court.” The outlet’s dubious insider adds, “There is a lot of dirt Brad has on Angie that he doesn’t want to use but absolutely will… The war is now just beginning.”
But Gossip Cop checked in with a reliable source close to Pitt, who exclusively assures us the actor isn’t holding onto damaging audio tapes of Jolie. We’re also told that no one in Pitt’s camp has even spoken to In Touch about the custody situation. Unfortunately, we’re not surprised the tabloid would concoct such a tall tale.
Gossip Cop previously corrected the publication’s false cover story alleging Pitt was seeking sole custody of the children. Of course, the actor has filed for joint custody. And shortly before that inaccurate claim, we called out the magazine for wrongly reporting Pitt was planning to get “revenge” on Jolie in court. The tabloid’s latest report regarding the situation is equally bogus.
