Brad Pitt is not dating jewelry designer and holistic healer Sat Hari Khalsa, despite inaccurate reports spreading online. Gossip Cop can exclusively debunk the romance rumors. We're told the two aren't an item.
Last weekend, Pitt attended the Silverlake Conservatory of Music gala, an annual benefit and art auction that raises money for music education and youth programs. The actor was photographed sitting near Khalsa, the founder of Amrit Jewelry, which specializes in designs inspired by ancient mysticism. The function was founded by Red Hot Chili Peppers member Flea, who's one of Pitt's good friends. The rocker is also close with Khalsa, who has accompanied his band on tour several times to act as their holistic adviser.
The movie star and jewelry designer attended the event because they're both friends with Flea, but the gossip media is now trying to romantically link them together. RadarOnline ran a story with the absurd headline, "Shocking Photos: Brad Pitt's Date With Sexy Spiritual Advisor Exposed." There's only one photo of Pitt and Khalsa together, and there's nothing remotely "shocking" about it.
The image simply shows Pitt and Khalsa seated near each other and facing the stage during the auction. The two aren't even interacting in the picture as both are focused on whatever's happening on stage. Still, the unreliable blog says Pitt "has been spotted getting cozy with a new woman." An alleged insider tells the website, "Word is she's making some special jewelry with 'healing energy' just for him.
Meanwhile, the Sun posted an article with the headline, "New Leading Lady: Brad Pitt sparks rumors he's dating again as he attends charity auction with jewelry designer Sat Hari." As noted above, the pair didn't attend the auction together. The outlet goes on to say that the two "were spotted laughing and talking at the charity party." This happens to be true, but a friendly interaction at a charity benefit doesn't mean two people are dating.
Despite these stories being completely baseless and lacking any type of evidence to back them up, Gossip Cop still checked in with a source close to Pitt, who tells us, "There are no truth to these rumors that they are dating. They did not attend together. They were just photographed near one another."
Additionally, "Entertainment Tonight" recently reported that Pitt "has taken a step away from dating" amid his custody battle with Angelina Jolie. The outlet further noted, "Now all he wants to do is focus on family." Basically, the gossip media decided to create a fake romance between Pitt and a woman who happened to have been in his vicinity.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
