Brad Pitt is not planning a "summer getaway" with MIT professor Neri Oxman, despite a bogus report. As Gossip Cop has repeatedly noted, the two aren't dating. We can exclusively set the record straight on this latest falsehood in the ongoing narrative.
According to RadarOnline, the movie star is preparing to go public with his so-called "top-secret girlfriend" by traveling with her to Europe this summer. An alleged insider tells the site that Oxman will accompany Pitt overseas "after this semester is finished," adding, "She has been on cloud nine!"
The outlet's questionable source further contends that Pitt has been "trying to keep their romance under wraps" for the time being, but he's getting serious with Oxman and will soon be ready to introduce her to the world as his new girlfriend. It's worth noting, the untrustworthy blog doesn't provide a single detail about the actor and professor's supposed "summer getaway," such as where in Europe they're going, when exactly they plan to leave, or how long they plan to stay.
More importantly, however, is the fact that Pitt and Oxman have a purely friendly and professional relationship, which Gossip Cop and other reputable outlets have been saying ever since the two were wrongly labeled a couple earlier this month. People and E! News are among the trusted entertainment outlets that have also confirmed Pitt and Oxman are "strictly friends."
Even though the two aren't romantically involved, Gossip Cop still checked in with Pitt's spokesperson, who tells us on the record "there's not truth" to the claim they're planning a summer vacation together. Additionally, Pitt is expected to spend the summer in Los Angeles shooting Quentin Tarantino's upcoming movie, Once Upon A Time in Hollywood. Regardless of the actor's filming schedule presenting a possible conflict, again his rep assures us he isn't traveling anywhere with Oxman.
Unfortunately, RadarOnline can't seem to accept the fact that the movie star and professor aren't dating. Gossip Cop recently busted the unreliable blog for falsely claiming Pitt was moving to Boston to live with Oxman. Shortly before that nonsense, we called out the site for making up a story about Angelina Jolie being "furious" over Pitt's (nonexistent) romance with the MIT professor.
Gossip Cop also corrected the site for wrongly reporting that Pitt was going back to school to impress Oxman. The site's countless storylines surrounding the actor and professor never pan out. As time will show, the two won't be embarking on a "summer getaway" either.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
