Brad Pitt's mom Jane did not beg Jennifer Aniston to call her son because he's "desperate," despite a made-up report. Gossip Cop can exclusively bust this fabricated claim. We're told this "never happened."
RadarOnline claims Aniston was "shocked" when she supposedly received a "worried phone call" from Pitt's mother. The outlet then quotes an alleged "insider" as saying that while Pitt's mom "knows Jen's remarried" to Justin Theroux, she still feels Aniston and her son were "meant to be together" and should "get back together." After further setting its phony scene about how Jane "loves Jen like a daughter," the website finally gets to its phony premise that Pitt is "not doing well right now," and Jane has wanted her son's ex-wife to "take him under her wing" and get the actor "back on his feet."
Let's get this straight: Brad Pitt's mom is nervous about him, and so the one person in the entire world that she allegedly felt compelled to reach out to was the woman he publicly cheated on? Allow Gossip Cop to explain how this story was seemingly concocted. First, there were reports that Pitt and Aniston had texted each other. That's true. Next, there were photos of the actor looking thin. That's also true. However, it appears the webloid took those two unrelated occurrences to parse together this false report.
So, how does Gossip Cop know this? Well, we reached out to mutual friends of ours and both Pitt and Aniston. Not one of a handful of people we spoke to could verify this. Most paired synonyms for bovines and excrement when offering their thoughts on the RadarOnline account. Additionally, Gossip Cop reached out to Aniston's rep to see if there was even a glimmer of truth to the outlet' story, and we were flat-out told it "never happened."
Does this surprise us? Not really. Remember, this fabricated tale is coming from the same people who months ago asserted Aniston and Theroux were divorcing over her alleged obsession with Pitt. That never happened either. Nor did a slew of other claims Gossip Cop debunked, including that Gwyneth Paltrow was comforting Pitt after his split with Jolie. Even if you don't have hypertension, take the webloid's latest article with a grain of salt.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
