Brad Pitt's mom, Jane Pitt, isn't planning to confront Angelina Jolie, despite a made-up report. Gossip Cop can debunk the phony story. We're told there's no truth to it.
Pitt is in the process of finalizing his divorce from his estranged wife and hatching out a permanent custody arrangement for their six kids, but according to RadarOnline, the actor's mom isn't ready to let them settle the divorce amicably. "Jane is a tough cookie, and she will never forgive Angelina for what she's put the family through, especially since they've barely seen the kids since the divorce was announced," says an alleged insider.
The outlet's supposed source further contends that Jane "thinks her son has been treated in a cruel and manipulative way, and she's not letting this go." The suspicious tipster goes on to say that Pitt has already "had to beg his mom not to jump on a plane to confront Angie numerous times, but she wants to look her in the eye and give a piece of her mind."
Of course, it's reasonable to believe that Pitt's mom has some anger towards her son's estranged wife, but the blog's take on the situation is simply fabricated. Despite what the site's anonymous and seemingly imaginary "source" claims, Pitt's rep tells us on the record that the article is made-up. The actor's mom has never had any intention of aggressively confronting Jolie. Pitt's mom is supporting him during his custody battle, but the idea that she wants to let out a tirade against Jolie simply isn't accurate.
It's worth noting, this isn't the first time that RadarOnline has arbitrarily involved Pitt's mom in his divorce. Last year, Gossip Cop called out the blog for falsely claiming that Jane had begged Jennifer Aniston to call her son and help him "get back on his feet" amid his split from Jolie.
Earlier this year, Gossip Cop busted the website for alleging that Pitt's mom was begging him to get back together with Aniston. The outlet's ongoing saga surrounding the movie star's mom has more in common with fan fiction than it does with journalism.
Meanwhile, the unreliable site wrongly reported last year that Pitt and Jolie were getting back together. It's clear the blog has zero knowledge about the ex-couple's divorce, so it chooses to make up stories about the situation instead. Sometimes those bogus stories involve Pitt and Jolie's family members, but the outlet has no insight into their involvement in the divorce.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
