Brad Pitt and Margot Robbie have not been going on "secret dates" across Europe while promoting Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, despite a ridiculous tabloid report. There's no romance between the co-stars. Gossip Cop can debunk the claim otherwise.
According to NW, Pitt and Robbie have been sparking a relationship while traveling the globe on the promo tour for their new movie. An alleged insider tells the outlet that the actress was "especially excited" to show her co-star around London while in town for the movie's UK premiere. "She's a huge fan of pubs, so she was thrilled to take Brad on a tour of her favorite haunts," says the supposed source.
The alleged insider further contends that the co-stars "snuck away for a bite" during the Cannes Film Festival in May, and ended up at a "small and rustic" restaurant where the vibe "couldn't have been more romantic." The unreliable outlet further maintains that Pitt and Robbie were "busted" heading into the Regent hotel in Berlin following their film's premiere in Germany. Despite the tabloid's outrageous insinuation, the Regent hotel is where the afterparty for the premiere was held.
The magazine's bogus report, which only briefly mentions that Robbie is married to producer Tom Ackerley, seems to be a combination of stories that Gossip Cop has already debunked. Last week, we called out Woman's Day for wrongly reporting that Pitt and Robbie were having secret dates at pubs in London. The co-stars never went bar-hopping during their brief trip to the UK in late July.
Also last week, Gossip Cop busted Life & Style for making up a phony story about Pitt and Robbie being in a "forbidden romance." That article also included a section about the co-stars sharing a meal in France during a break from the Cannes Film Festival. Pitt's own spokesperson went on the record to dismiss the article as nonsense. The actor's rep has also told us countless times that all of these various articles linking him to Robbie are untrue. Pitt isn't in a secret romance with his married co-star.
Additionally, if two of the biggest movie stars in the world were actually going on dates across Europe, wouldn't they have been spotted out together at least once? They haven't been. This latest report is incorporating new and old claims about Pitt and Robbie to make it seem as if they're having an overseas love affair. The co-stars are simply promoting their movie together. As for NW, Gossip Cop recently busted the magazine for falsely claiming Pitt had confessed his love for Robbie and was hoping her marriage would fall apart. This ongoing saga surrounding the co-stars is total fiction.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
