Brad Pitt being “upset” about Angelina Jolie not inviting him to their son Maddox‘s 16th birthday is a made-up story. Gossip Cop can correct this fake news.
According to the serial fabulists at HollywoodLife, Pitt was a “persona non grata” at the 16th birthday party for Maddox. The repeatedly discredited site quotes a seemingly fabricated “source” saying Pitt was “disappointed” that he was “not invited to attend.” The blog’s ill-informed and highly suspect “source” further alleges that the actor was “upset” that he was going to “miss out on this first big milestone event since the divorce.”
The supposed “source” goes on to claim, “[Pitt] is doing his best to work around Angelina’s wishes for the children, but this is one instance where Brad is really hurt.” “Despite his pleading, Angie simply will not set aside her differences,” adds the phony sounding tipster.
There’s a reason that outlet has earned the nickname HollywoodLies, and it’s because of made-up articles like this new one, which are filled with falsehoods and fake quotations. Despite the untrustworthy blog’s contention, this is hardly the first “milestone event” since he and Jolie split that Pitt has not been with his family. Pitt was not present at the birthdays of Vivienne and Knox, or at Shiloh’s or Zahara’s celebrations this year. Nor did he spend Thanksgiving, Christmas or Father’s Day with his children. Of course, as Gossip Cop previously reported, HollywoodLife’s fake news story about Pitt’s Father’s Day plans with his children blew up in the site’s face when it emerged the kids were out of the country at the time.
In addition to that evidence, illustrating how little HollywoodLies knows about Jolie and Pitt, are the article’s 100 percent concocted quotations. Within just a few words of each other, the almost assuredly manufactured “source” is quoted as saying Pitt is doing his “best to work around Angelina’s wishes for the children,” but “Angie simply will not set aside her differences.” Here, the alleged “source” can’t even keep track of whether Jolie is “Angie” or Angelina.” Imagine if a supposed “source close to the family” called Pitt within a sentence or two “Brad” and “Bradley”?
That’s not how “close” friends talk about people they know. That’s how unreliable websites get caught fabricating quotations and pretending they have inside information. Additionally, Gossip Cop has been assured over and over from actual Pitt and Jolie confidantes that no one in their camps feeds anything to HollywoodLies, and most especially about their kids.
As well-established by Gossip Cop, the site has made up stories about Jolie planning to marry an unnamed British billionaire and hooking up with Johnny Depp. It has also published made up stories about Pitt dating Kate Hudson and getting back together with Jolie. Simply, HollywoodLies makes up stories.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
