Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston do not share a "secret hideout" in the Hollywood Hills, despite a ridiculous tabloid report. Gossip Cop can exclusively debunk this nonsense. We're told it's completely untrue.
According to Woman's Day, the ex-spouses have rekindled their romance, but they've been concealing their relationship from the public by meeting up at an undisclosed location in Los Angeles. An alleged insider tells the magazine, "Brad has been renting a home in the Hills, where he and Jen meet up away from prying eyes. They know people will spot them going to each other's homes."
As the story goes, Aniston is also eager for her ex-husband to sell the Los Feliz home he's owned for more than 20 years "because she associates it with nights being home alone when he started seeing [Angelina Jolie]." The unreliable outlet further contends that the actress believes getting rid of the compound will help Pitt "tidy up some of his loose ends with his ex-wife." It should be noted, Pitt and Jolie haven't finalized their divorce, so she's not his "ex-wife." Of course, that error is the least of the problems with this phony article.
As Gossip Cop has repeatedly noted, and as other reputable outlets have maintained as well, Pitt and Aniston haven't reunited. Insiders also recently told People that the exes haven't seen each other in a long time and it's unlikely they'll get together anytime soon. Regardless, Gossip Cop checked in with a source close to the situation, who couldn't comment on the record but laughed off the claim that the two share a "secret hideout" in Hollywood. We're told the story is just "more stupidity" from the tabloids. Reps for both Aniston and Pitt have also confirmed to us that they are not getting back together.
Earlier this month, Gossip Cop busted Woman's Day for falsely claiming that Pitt and Aniston were planning a surprise wedding in Hawaii. That bogus story came on the heels of another report about the two getting engaged directly after the actress's split from Justin Theroux. Tellingly, the publication's latest piece of fiction makes no mention of the supposed engagement and nuptials.
Perhaps Pitt and Aniston's "secret hideout" is actually located at 123 Main Street in Anytown, USA. You won't find the address anywhere on a map, so the two should have plenty of privacy.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
