One of the tabloids is claiming Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston have rekindled their romance and it’s getting “very serious” between them. Nothing about the story is remotely true. As Gossip Cop has stressed countless times, the ex-spouses aren’t back together.
According to OK!, Pitt and Aniston were “busted” car shopping together at a Maserati dealership in Los Angeles earlier this month. Naturally, there aren’t any photos to back up this claim. It’s also worth noting, the actor has spent the majority of the month overseas promoting Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. Still, an alleged insider tells the outlet, “They seemed to be having a great time, talking and laughing at each other’s jokes. They didn’t act as if they were trying to hide anything. Being together seemed like the most natural thing.”
The anonymous source goes on to say that the supposed car shopping excursion comes on the heels of the exes secretly spending time together for months. “Jen and Brad are seeing each other again, and it’s gotten very serious,” adds the questionable tipster. “Jen recently admitted to friends that she’s giving it another try with Brad, and that they’re throwing themselves into this wholeheartedly, no second thoughts.”
The so-called “insider” further contends that Aniston and Pitt have had several dinner dates at the Beverly Hills Hotel. However, the exes haven’t been spotted together at the hotspot, which is frequently swarmed by paparazzi. The “source” concludes that the actress’s pals “can’t help but wonder if a big announcement is on the horizon,” such as marriage or a baby. “If it is, friends would be absolutely thrilled.”
The tabloid’s bogus article is based on claims from an untraceable tipster, but separate reps for both Pitt and Aniston are going on the record to refute it. Spokespeople for both stars confirm they haven’t rekindled a romance. Simply put, the ex-couple’s imaginary reconciliation isn’t getting “very serious.”
It should be noted, Gossip Cop busted OK! in May for wrongly reporting that Pitt had proposed to Aniston during a romantic dinner at her house. This latest article makes no mention of an engagement, but simply says the actress’s friends believe there’s a “big announcement” coming.
Meanwhile, the unreliable tabloid falsely claimed less than a year ago that Pitt and Aniston were getting married and having a baby. This latest report doesn’t bother to explain what happened to that fake scenario. The reason the magazine’s stories are so inconsistent is because none of them are true.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
