Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston are not expecting a "miracle baby," despite a ridiculous tabloid cover story. As Gossip Cop has stressed countless times, the ex-spouses aren't back together. We can once again set the record straight.
"Brad & Jen: Baby Announcement!" reads the cover of this week's In Touch. According to the magazine, Aniston broke the supposed pregnancy news to Courteney Cox during a dinner in Los Angeles last month. An alleged insider tells the outlet, "From what I've heard, Jen got pregnant naturally with Brad. It just happened - no IVF or anything. It's a true miracle baby."
The magazine goes on to say that Pitt and Aniston have also shared the news with George and Amal Clooney, as well as his parents. The "source" says the actor's mom was particularly "over the moon" because she's always preferred Aniston to Angelina Jolie. From there, the questionable tipster says Pitt's six kids "will be so excited about getting another sibling," but he's worried about facing blowback from his estranged wife. "[Jolie] was already livid that Brad was romantically involved with her archival again. She's going to explode when she's hit with the news of Jen's pregnancy."
The alleged insider adds, "Brad and Jen are itching to get their respective divorces finalized so they can get on with this incredible new phase of their lives." In the meantime, Pitt is supposedly designing a nursery for his "new home" with Aniston. "Brad and Jen want a fresh start after finding each other again," adds the seemingly phony source. "This time they're going to get it right."
Actually, it's time for the tabloids to get it right. This phony narrative about Aniston reuniting with Pitt has been going on since she separated from Justin Theroux earlier this year. Separate spokespeople for both stars have gone on the record several times to assure Gossip Cop the ex-spouses aren't back together. Reputable celebrity news outlets such as People magazine have reported that Pitt and Aniston "haven't seen each other in ages." Meanwhile, Aniston's close friend Portia de Rossi told Us Weekly she knows "for a fact" that the two "haven't seen each other."
Back in June, Gossip Cop busted In Touch for publishing a bogus cover story about Pitt and Aniston planning a wedding and having a baby. The report said the pair would be holding a ceremony at Clooney's Lake Como villa in August. That obviously never happened, and this latest cover story makes no mention of why they didn't tie the knot over the summer, as supposedly planned.
Regardless of how many times we've debunked variations of this theme, Gossip Cop still checked in with a rep for Pitt, who was left speechless by this storyline emerging yet again. It's also worth noting, the cover of the tabloid tries to make it look as if Pitt and Aniston recently posed together, but the photo used of Aniston was taken at the September 2016 premiere of her animated movie Storks, while the image of Pitt was shot at a charity concert in January 2017.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
