One of this week's tabloids claims Brad Pitt plans to declare his love for Jennifer Aniston in a TV interview. The story is completely made-up. Gossip Cop can debunk it.
According to OK!, the movie star is ready to come clean about his so-called "rekindled romance" with his ex-wife. An alleged insider tells the magazine the exes discovered "the passion is still there" during a supposed reunion a few months ago, adding, "They've been seeing each other ever since." The supposed source continues, "Brad has stayed at Jen's house in Bel Air — he comes and goes through a secret entrance on her property — and even when he's on set [of Once Upon a Time in Hollywood], he calls constantly, sometimes just to say he loves her."
The questionable tipster goes on to say that Aniston also made a secret visit to Pitt's Los Feliz mansion and "played video games and watched movies" with his six kids. According to the "insider," the actor's 12-year-old daughter Shiloh "told Brad she really likes Jen," but his estranged wife Angelina Jolie "threw a fit" when she learned Aniston had spent time with her children.
The seemingly nonexistent source further contends that Pitt wants to sit down for a revealing TV interview "to tell it like it is, how Jen is the only woman he's ever loved and why he'll never leave her again." The alleged tipster concludes, "He's thinking about sitting down with Ellen DeGeneres, who happens to be a friend of Jen's, so she would make them both look good."
The tabloid's article is pure fiction. Despite what the magazine's anonymous "source" claims, reps for both Pitt and Aniston have assured Gossip Cop several times on the record that they're not back together. The idea that the ex-spouses reunited a few months ago doesn't make sense either. Aniston spent the summer in Europe shooting the Netflix movie Murder Mystery, while Pitt was in Los Angeles filming Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. The exes were on different continents all summer.
It's also worth noting, OK! can't keep is phony storylines straight. In August, Gossip Cop busted the tabloid for falsely claiming that Pitt and Aniston had gotten engaged. The following month, we called out the magazine for falsely claiming that Pitt and Aniston were getting married and having a baby. This latest article makes no mention of those scenarios. That's because they're fabricated, much like this latest story about the exes. Pitt won't be giving any interviews about a romance that hasn't been rekindled.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
