Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston are not on the verge of bringing up his children together, despite a tabloid report that's false on every level. Gossip Cop can debunk the ridiculous premise. There's no truth to it.
Last week, the actor scored a win in his custody negotiations when a judge ruled that he should get to spend more time with his six kids. New Idea's latest cover story says Angelina Jolie is furious over the new setup because it means Aniston could end up playing a role in raising her children.
The magazine's headline reads, "Brad and Jen's Joy: We're Finally a Family," and says Pitt's "rekindled relationship" with Aniston might lead to the two "bringing up his children together full-time." But as Gossip Cop has stressed several times, the ex-spouses aren't back together in any capacity. As People also recently confirmed, Pitt and Aniston "haven't seen each other in ages."
From there, the untrustworthy tabloid recycles an old storyline that Gossip Cop already busted. The magazine says Jolie's "worst nightmare came true" because her 12-year-old daughter Shiloh is "bonding" with Aniston. The unreliable outlet further contends that Jolie is "devastated" about her children spending time with their dad's ex-wife, especially "knowing Jennifer got on so well with Shiloh." Only, Aniston has never met her ex's kids.
Still, the publication ends its phony article by saying Aniston is "over the moon that her relationship with Brad can also include his children" and has "always relished the idea of being a stepmom." Once again, the ex-spouses haven't reunited. Spokespeople for both stars have said this on the record several times, while trusted entertainment news shows such as "Entertainment Tonight" have reported that Pitt and Aniston are "absolutely not" dating again.
Aniston has absolutely nothing to do with her ex-husband's custody case, and the magazine's attempt to drag her into it is completely baseless. Remember, New Idea is the same clueless tabloid Gossip Cop busted last December for falsely claiming Pitt was having a baby with Monaco royal Charlotte Casiraghi. That absurd storyline went nowhere. Not only did the two never welcome a child, but they never dated.
Conclusion: This one's pretty cut and dry. Pitt and Aniston haven't rekindled their romance, so they won't be bringing up his children together. It also goes without saying, but Jolie isn't furious about an imaginary scenario involving the actress getting close to her kids. The tabloid's cover story amounts to nothing but fan fiction designed to dupe readers and sell magazines.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
