Is Brad Pitt torn between Jennifer Aniston and Charlize Theron? One of this week's tabloids claims the actor can't decide whether he wants to reunite with his ex-wife or embark on a new romance. Gossip Cop can debunk this entirely bogus storyline.
Earlier this week, several unreliable outlets falsely claimed Pitt and Theron were secretly dating after supposedly meeting up at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles earlier this month. The actor's rep told Gossip Cop on the record that the romance rumors were false. The two movies stars shot an ad for Breitling watches last year, but Pitt's spokesperson explained to us that he "hasn't seen [Theron] in months" and most assuredly wasn't dating the actress. Reputable outlets such as People magazine, "Entertainment Tonight" and E! News have since confirmed Pitt and Theron "aren't dating and never were."
Meanwhile, Pitt has been continuously linked to Aniston ever since the actress split from Justin Theroux nearly a year ago. Separate reps for both stars have told Gossip Cop countless times that the ex-spouses aren't back together in any capacity. This was confirmed by the actress's friend Portia de Rossi, who told Us Weekly she knew for "fact a fact" that Aniston and Pitt "haven't seen each other" in a very long time.
Unfortunately, these facts haven't stopped In Touch from creating a nonexistent love triangle between Pitt and two women who he's not romancing. A headline in the latest issue of the magazine reads, "Will Charlize Steal Brad From Jen?" An alleged insider is quoted as saying, "He's definitely Charlize's type, and vice versa - it's not surprising they'd be dating. And while Charlize has been friendly with Jen in the past, there's no loyalty - definitely no girl-code issues about dating an ex."
The tabloid further contends Pitt "is at a crossroads" when it comes to deciding which actress he wants to continue seeing. "Jen could end up heartbroken again," adds the outlet's supposed source, who goes on to assert Pitt's friends believe he should leave behind "his complicated relationship" with Aniston and move on with someone new.
The tabloid's report is a complete work of fiction. Pitt hasn't rekindled a romance with Aniston, and he's never been involved with Theron. In Touch is the same magazine Gossip Cop busted earlier this month for falsely claiming Pitt and Aniston were having a baby girl together.
Two months ago, the outlet wrote another phony article about Pitt and Aniston expecting a "miracle baby." Last August, Gossip Cop called out the publication for making up a story about Pitt and Aniston going on a honeymoon in Italy following a backyard wedding. The latest article makes no mention of any of those 100 percent fake scenarios.
In the fantasy world created by In Touch, Pitt and Aniston are married with multiple babies, but he's considering leaving her for Theron, who he's been concurrently dating. There's no logic or consistency to the tabloid's ongoing saga. That's because none of it is remotely true.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
