Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston were not "caught kissing," nor are they "in love" or rekindling their romance, despite an absurd report. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct these claims, which teeter on fake news. We're assured it's all not true and fabricated.
According to the Inquisitr, "Even though Aniston is now married to Justin Theroux," the actress simply "can't let go" of Pitt, and it's "destroying her romance" with her current husband. The website adds, "Jennifer and Brad have gone from a platonic reunion to a rekindled romance." Out-of-nowhere, the outlet then maintains an "insider" tells Yahoo that despite their unpleasant divorce, Aniston and Pitt have "always been in love" and have had strong "feelings" for one another, despite being married to Theroux and Angelina Jolie, respectively.
The article becomes even more nonsensical when the site contends that recently in L.A. "Aniston was with friends at Soho House... [and] Brad showed up and joined the group." Basing its claims on the Australian tabloid, Woman's Day, the outlet asserts that "even though Aniston and Pitt were in a public restaurant, Brad apparently could not resist the temptation." An almost assuredly fictitious source tells the Aussie magazine, "Brad kissed Jen's neck and whispered something into her ear before giving her a knowing glance."
Oh wait, there's still more. Kris Herzog, who tends to be referred to by second-tier tabloids as a "former security guard" for Pitt, is then quoted as saying, "Brad and Jen are in love and always have been." As a reminder, the first and last time Herzog was ever mentioned by Gossip Cop was when we debunked a story in which he commented on Pitt's nonexistent romance with Kate Hudson.
Shockingly, as if the Inquisitr hasn't referenced enough questionable outlets, it next turns to the often discredited The Hollywood Gossip, which maintains that Aniston's marriage to Theroux "has been crumbling," and "Pitt's ability to console Jennifer while she's vulnerable" has made her marital troubles even worse. Actually, "even worse" than that is this entirely made-up report, which has pulled together falsehoods from a number of different outlets.
Virtually nothing in the website's article is accurate. Aniston is not "in love" with Pitt nor are the former spouses rekindling their romance. It's all lies.
Of course, none of the aforementioned tabloids or sites mention when Aniston and Pitt purportedly met up at the Soho House in L.A. And curiously, no legitimate outlets have reported about this supposedly momentous encounter during which they were allegedly "caught kissing. Again, it's all lies.
This is nothing more than ridiculous fan fiction. Gossip Cop, however, deals with facts, which include that Pitt and Aniston texted each other about a year ago, but have not met up publicly or privately since then. Meanwhile, Theroux and Aniston's marriage appear to be solid.
The Inquisitr likes to pick up bits and pieces from other outlets, but what often results are wholly inaccurate articles. In the past, for instance, Gossip Cop busted the website when it published an untrue tale about Pitt asking Aniston to marry him again following his split from Jolie. That story was a complete fabrication, and so is this latest one that falsely alleges Pitt and Aniston were "caught kissing" and rekindling their romance. When contacted by Gossip Cop, reps for both Aniston and Pitt dismissed the new and untrue report.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
