Brad Pitt is not buying back his old Hollywood Hills home to turn into a “love nest” for him and Jennifer Aniston. That ridiculous premise is being pushed by one of the tabloids. Gossip Cop can correct it.
According to New Idea, Pitt wants to purchase the Hollywood Hills property he owned back in the late ’90s when he first started dating Aniston. The outlet says it’s part of the actor’s plan to woo back his ex-wife in the hopes that his old home “may reignite memories of their early courtship days.” An alleged insider tells the outlet, “As soon as the house went on the market back in May, Brad knew that buying it back would prove to Jen just how serious he is about building a future with her.”
The anonymous tipster adds, “All Brad wants is to be back in their home with Jen and start where they left off – making all the memories in the home they always dreamed they would make together and showing it to his kids, too.” The supposed source says Pitt hopes buying the house will be the big gesture he needs to prove to Aniston that he’s ready to “put things right and make this fresh start together.”
The tabloid’s report is based on claims from an unknown “source,” but Gossip Cop ran the story by Pitt’s spokesperson, who assures us there’s “no truth” to it. The actor has no plans to buy back his old Hollywood Hills home, nor is he trying to rekindle a romance with Aniston. In addition to the magazine’s article being fabricated, it’s also recycled.
Back in April, Gossip Cop busted New Idea for falsely claiming Pitt was buying back the Beverly Hills home he once shared with Aniston as a gift for their so-called “wedding.” The actor never bought that house and the exes never got married again either. This latest article ignores that fictional scenario in favor of a similar, yet slightly different one. Instead of Pitt buying the Beverly Hills house he shared with Aniston while they were married, now he’s supposedly buying the Hollywood Hills home he owned when they first started dating. This altered narrative is equally fictional.
Meanwhile, Gossip Cop busted New Idea in February for falsely claiming Pitt and Aniston got married again at her 50th birthday party. The following month, the tabloid insisted Pitt and Aniston went on a honeymoon in Paris to celebrate. Now it’s November and suddenly the actor is back to trying to rekindle a romance with his ex-wife? The very least the magazine could do is keep its imaginary storylines consistent.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
