The cover of one of this week's tabloids claims Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston are having a baby after supposedly rekindling their romance. The story is a complete work of fiction. Gossip Cop can debunk it.
According to Star, the actress reunited with her ex-husband following her split with Justin Theroux earlier this year, and now she's about to become a mom for the first time. An alleged insider tells the magazine, "Brad and Jen never gave up hope on having a child together, and now it's finally happening. They've had such a troubled history, but their baby dreams have finally come true. She's been telling friends that she's pregnant - and that they can't wait to meet their baby."
The outlet's supposed source goes on to say that Aniston "got pregnant naturally with Brad," adding, "It just happened - no IVF or anything. It's a true miracle baby." The questionable tipster further contends that Angelina Jolie "went ballistic" when she heard the news. "Knowing Brad and Jen are back together and now having a child makes her furious," adds the suspicious source. "She can't bear that he's moving on and happy."
Theroux is also angry about the supposed pregnancy, according to the "insider," who claims the actor "can't believe [Aniston's] having a baby with Brad less than a year after they split." Their friends and family, however, are said to be thrilled about the news. "Jen told Brad's parents, William and Jane, right away, and then Brad let his kids know," adds the seemingly nonexistent source.
From there, the tipster contends that Pitt and Aniston are in the process of buying a home together to raise their child. "They can't wait to start renovating a new place, and Brad's already got plans for designing and building a nursery," adds the alleged source. "Brad and Jen are calling this a miracle - not just the baby, but that they're back in each other's arms again."
There's not a single aspect of the tabloid's story that's remotely true. For starters, separate reps for both Pitt and Aniston tell Gossip Cop on the record that the report is false. The actress's spokesperson calls it a "complete fabrication," while the actor's spokesperson says it's "baseless." The ex-spouses aren't back together and the actress certainly isn't pregnant with Pitt's child. The publication even includes a fake sonogram on the cover, but acknowledges it's a "recreation" in tiny print at the bottom of the image.
Meanwhile, the outlet claims that the exes rekindled a relationship following her separation from Theroux, but People magazine made it clear earlier this year that Pitt and Aniston haven't reunited. Just a few months ago, the actress's close friend Portia de Rossi told Us Weekly she knows "for a fact" that the two "haven't seen each other." And last month, E! News published an article titled, "The Truth About Brad Pitt's Post-Divorce Dating Life," and it doesn't include a reunion with Aniston.
It's also worth noting, Star can't keep track of its phony narratives. Just last month, Gossip Cop busted the magazine for falsely claiming that Pitt "dumped" Aniston for spiritual healer Sat Hari Khalsa. The latest article makes no mention of that supposed situation. There's simply no truth to this ongoing saga surrounding the ex-spouses.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
