A tabloid claims Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston want to have a baby to take their "rekindled romance" to the next level. Nothing about the story is remotely true. Gossip Cop can confirm that the ex-spouses aren't back together, and certainly aren't planning for a child.
According to Life & Style, however, Pitt and Aniston are a couple again following months of secret dates, and their relationship is getting increasingly serious. "Friends are buzzing that they want a baby," an anonymous insider tells the magazine. "Jen and Brad seem to have agreed, it's finally time for them to start a family together."
The supposed insider adds, "Having a child is a huge step, but she and Brad are both excited. While their relationship has progressed slowly, it's been ideal. They're madly in love again and will make a great team as parents." The unknown tipster goes on to say that Pitt and Aniston have been exploring IVF so the 50-year-old actress can get pregnant.
"They have the best doctors that money can buy," adds the seemingly nonexistent source. "IVF isn't always the easiest, but Jen's being a real trouper and she and Brad are taking every precaution. They regret not having a child when they were together the first time, but they're not looking back."
From there, the outlet says Pitt and Aniston are holding off on getting married until their baby arrives as they're in "no rush" to tie the knot again. "They joke that they have their wonderful Malibu wedding under their belt already," says the unidentified source, who concludes, "Jen's going to be a great mom. She can't believe that she's finally going to have Brad's child." Gossip Cop can't believe it either, but that's because it isn't true.
Despite what the magazine's untraceable "insider" claims, separate spokespeople for both Pitt and Aniston are going on the record to refute the report. Individual reps for both stars confirm they haven't rekindled a romance. In fact, Aniston said on The Howard Stern Show just a couple of weeks ago that she's not dating anyone and has been too busy with work. The actress isn't seeing anyone at the moment, let alone her ex-husband.
Life & Style has spent the past several months creating an imaginary reunion between the ex-spouses. Back in June, Gossip Cop called out the publication for falsely claiming Pitt and Aniston went on a getaway to Rome with George and Amal Clooney. No such trip took place.
In April, Gossip Cop busted the tabloid for making up a story about Pitt and Aniston planning a romantic weekend in France. And in March, the unreliable outlet insisted Pitt and Aniston had been on two dates since the actor attended her 50th birthday party the previous month. This fictional storyline has now culminated in the two having a baby together. This ongoing saga is simply nonsense.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
