Are Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston adopting a baby girl and naming her after George Clooney, who help get them back together? That’s the premise of a new tabloid story. Gossip Cop has learned the truth.
According to Life & Style, not only have Pitt and Aniston rekindled their romance, but they’re on the verge of signing paperwork to become parents together. “They’ve been talking about adopting a little girl,” an unknown source tells the magazine. “Starting a family of their own was always a dream of theirs that was never realized. Until now. They can’t wait to finally bring a baby – their baby – home. It’s a miracle.”
The anonymous insider continues, “They’ve picked a very simple and sweet name with a special meaning: Georgia,” inspired by their mutual friend Clooney, who “played an integral role in helping them get back together.” The alleged tipster adds, “George feels invested in their relationship. He wants to see his pal Brad happy again, and that means one thing: Jennifer.”
From there, the “source” throws in random details – such as Aniston “purchasing baby items” and “decorating a nursery.” The supposed insider adds other banal statements: “Their hearts are so full. They’re thrilled about this new chapter.” At no point, however, does the magazine bother to mention where this baby girl is coming from. The outlet maintains that Pitt and Aniston are already filling out paperwork, but doesn’t bother to mention the city, state or country where this child is being adopted.
Regardless, the tabloid’s story is total nonsense based on the word of an unidentified “insider.” Gossip Cop ran the story by Aniston’s spokesperson, who responded, “No one can actually believe this crap? It’s all made up.” Pitt’s rep also confirms there’s no truth to the magazine’s article. Several reliable celebrity news outlets, including People magazine, have also reported that Pitt and Aniston haven’t rekindled a romance.
Life & Style‘s latest story is also the continuation of a phony narrative we debunked last June. At the time, the tabloid said Pitt and Aniston went on a Roman getaway with Clooney and his wife Amal. The publication claimed Clooney had been “playing Cupid” for the ex-spouses, so he invited them to Italy in the hopes they’d get back together. Separate spokespeople for both Pitt and Aniston refuted that report as well.
Just last month, Gossip Cop called out the magazine for making up a story about Pitt and Aniston planning a $1 million wedding in Napa Valley. There’s no mention of that imaginary wedding in this latest article. This fictional saga keeps getting increasingly ridiculous.
