Brad Pitt does not have a “crush” on Emilia Clarke, nor have they been in touch and hanging out since he bid on a special viewing of “Game Of Thrones” with the show’s star, despite a new report. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct this fabricated story. We’re told it’s entirely “untrue.”

According to the often discredited National Enquirer, Pitt has it “bad” for Clarke. After stating the actor is a “huge fan” of “Game Of Thrones,” the gossip magazine then recounts how Pitt bid on the chance to watch an episode of the hit HBO series with Clarke earlier this month while attending the charity event “Sean Penn & Friends Haiti Rising Gala” in L.A. Even though Pitt was outbid at the auction, which benefitted the J/P Haitian Relief Organization, a so-called “snitch” tells the supermarket tabloid, “He and Emilia have been in touch, and they will be hanging out together.”

The publication’s seemingly fictitious source maintains that Pitt is working on getting some alone time with the actress. The alleged insider supposedly tells the outlet, “This time all it will cost him dinner and drinks.” “It’s time for Brad to start dating again, and Brad has his eye on Emilia,” adds the “snitch” in bizarrely unnatural language.

Other than the widely reported news about how Pitt bid on watching “Game Of Thrones” with Clarke, along with her co-star Kit Harington, pretty much the rest of the tabloid’s article is a total lie. A mutual pal of Gossip Cop and Clarke’s assures us Pitt and the actress have not even been in touch since the charity event. Our impeccable insider says the magazine’s report is 100 percent “untrue.” Meanwhile, a Pitt source also says the magazine’s narrative is made-up.

To put it mildly, the Enquirer doesn’t have the best record when it comes to reporting on Pitt. Among the tall tales printed by the magazine in the past year or so include wrong reports about Pitt dating and impregnating Kate Hudson, as well as a wholly manufactured story about how the actor and Demi Moore practice “intense and sensual” yoga together. As Gossip Cop was first to report in each of those instances, Pitt has no physical connection to either woman.

Similarly, despite the tabloid’s latest claims, Pitt does not have a “crush” on Clarke, nor have they stayed in touch since the Haiti relief fundraiser three weeks ago. The premise and the quotations were completely concocted. Gossip Cop has also been told the magazine never fact-checked its story. Of course, there may have been no reason to verify its assertions, particularly if the tabloid knew from the start that its article was phony.
