Brad Pitt was dumped by Charlize Theron on TV for "two-timing" her with Jennifer Aniston, according to a new tabloid report. Gossip Cop can debunk this outlandish story. We've been repeatedly assured the actor is not involved with either actress.
The latest issue of the Globe reports Theron got "sweet revenge" on Pitt by "kicking him to the curb" on TV. The supermarket tabloid, which seems to exist in a fantasy world, claims Pitt and the blonde actress "were planning a family," but after he went to Aniston's 50th birthday party, Theron was so upset that she announced on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" how she's "single." To back up its preposterous premise, the magazine quotes an unnamed and seemingly fabricated "snitch," who asserted, "That was shocking to Brad."
The same alleged tipster further contends that for Pitt to "get bounced like that on a national talk show must have seemed like the ultimate insult." "It was a public humiliation," adds the supposed insider. The outlet goes on to maintain it was "no accident" that Theron dumped Pitt on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" because the talk-show host was a guest at Aniston's party. "Breaking the news on Ellen's show was like twisting the knife," concludes the so-called "snitch," who insists that while Pitt was "romancing Charlize" last summer, he was also having "sizzling hookups" with Aniston.
With the exception of the spellings of Aniston, Pitt, and Theron's names, virtually nothing else in the publication's article is remotely accurate. In no particular order, Pitt and Aniston were not having "hookups" last summer, as confirmed on the record by both their reps. And Theron and Pitt never dated, his spokesman also assured Gossip Cop, noting the two hadn't seen each other in months after shooting a Breitling watch ad together.
Additionally, Theron didn't declare on the daytime talk show that she's "single" as a way to break up with Pitt. While on "Ellen," after the conversation moved on from talk about "The Bachelor," Theron recounted a bizarre way she practiced kissing as a kid, before joking, "It's why I'm single." Theron wasn't "twisting the knife" into Pitt. Rather, the tabloid was again twisting the truth.
The Globe appears, particularly with Pitt, to care less about facts and more about pushing its fiction. For instance, just about a year ago, Gossip Cop busted the outlet when it published an absurd tale about Pitt and Angelina Jolie "calling off" their divorce. Obviously, that never happened. Months later, we then took the tabloid to task for falsely reporting Pitt and Aniston were "in love again."
Just a month ago, Gossip Cop corrected the publication when it wrongly alleged Jolie believed Theron was dating Pitt to get "revenge" on her. And it's interesting how the magazine's current article claims the actor and blonde actress were "planning a family," when just a few weeks ago it swore up and down Theron was pregnant with Pitt's baby. Curiously, the outlet doesn't mention that error or explain why it is reporting now how she dumped him on TV when it untruthfully asserted some time ago that Pitt betrayed Theron by attending Aniston's party.
Basically, despite reps stating Pitt and Aniston have not rekindled or that he ever dated Theron, the tabloid still keeps churning out one bogus tale after another about them. The result is nothing more than the magazine creating a library of lies. The only one who should probably get dumped, though not necessarily on TV, are that publication's fiction writers.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
