Brad Pitt Angelina Jolie Dying Divorce

(National Enquirer)

Brad Pitt is NOT threatening to divorce Angelina Jolie, nor is she “dying,” despite a fabricated tabloid report. Gossip Cop can exclusively bust this claim. We’re told it’s “nonsense.”

According to the National Enquirer, Jolie supposedly weighs 79 pounds and is on the verge of death, which has resulted in Pitt giving her a so-called “eat or divorce” ultimatum. A supposed source tells the tabloid, “Brad has done everything to get Angie to focus on her health… He’s watched in despair as Angie sometimes goes all day without eating.”

The magazine’s seemingly phony insider goes on to allege that Pitt is “so worried about her dying and loves her so much that he’s willing to divorce her as a wake-up call.” The tabloid also claims that the actor told his wife it’s “too hard on him and the kids” to “watch her waste away,” but she’s supposedly in denial about having health issues.

Gossip Cop checked in with a source close to the couple, who exclusively assures us that the tabloid’s story is complete “nonsense.” In fact, the outlet at one point quotes its “source” as saying that Jolie “doesn’t have the energy to get out of bed.” But it’s untrue. Jolie is currently hard at work in Cambodia directing the upcoming drama, First They Killed My Father, which she also wrote and is producing.

Of course, Gossip Cop has corrected countless untrue stories that the Enquirer has made up about Pitt and Jolie. We recently debunked the tabloid’s rumor about Jolie allegedly firing the family’s nanny for hitting on her husband. Shortly before that, Gossip Cop called out the magazine for falsely claiming that Jolie was “flirting nonstop” with a young crew member on the set of her new movie. Much like those tall tales, the tabloid’s latest ridiculous claim about the couple dealing with death and divorce is completely bogus.
