Brad Pitt did not back out of taking his sons Pax and Maddox to an Offspring and Sublime concert in Los Angeles, despite an entirely fabricated story. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct this falsehood. We’re told by a Pitt confidante that the claim is entirely “made up.”

According to the serial manufacturers at HollywoodLife, Pitt cancelled plans to take his two oldest sons to the concert, “leaving the boys heartbroken.” A seemingly fictional “source” tells the often discredited site in unnaturally expository language, “Brad Pitt disappointed his older boys this weekend when he was unable to take them to see their favorite punk bands, Offspring and Sublime, in concert in Los Angeles. Pax and Maddox were with Brad at their Los Feliz home over the weekend and super excited about going with their father to see a huge rock & roll show with their dad.”

The highly suspect “source” alleges Pitt promised Pax and Maddox that he would take them to the concert at the Irvine Meadows Amphitheater on Saturday, but “at the last-minute by recommendations from his security team, Brad thought it best to stay home, leaving the boys absolutely crushed.” Not only does the repeatedly disproven webloid have the gall to concoct this story, but then it also feigns concern by editorializing, “OMG, it probably would have created a terrifying paparazzi feeding frenzy!”

Much like numerous other stories from HollywoodLies, this tall tale is also 100 percent untrue. Pitt never had plans to take Pax and Maddox to the concert, and therefore never had to cancel on them, causing them to become “sad and confused,” as alleged by the outlet. A Pitt insider exclusively assures Gossip Cop the article is “false and made up.”

Sadly, Gossip Cop is not surprised by the falsity of this latest manipulation by HollywoodLife. Remember, this is the same outlet that published a story in the wake of the divorce announcement that Pitt was leaning on George Clooney before the latter even knew his pal had separated from Angelina Jolie. It’s also the site that then lied about Pitt staying at Clooney’s house. And it’s the same webloid that fabricated a slew of other reports, including that Pitt was going to rehab to win Jolie back.

Every single one of those articles are verifiably wrong, including the latest about Pitt backing out of taking Pax and Maddox to a concert in Los Angeles. It you want to read fiction about Pitt and Jolie, HollywoodLife has published several articles for you. But if you want facts, Gossip Cop is the place for you.
