Demi Moore has not "dragged" Brad Pitt into Kabbalah, an ancient Jewish tradition that uses mysticism to improve one's life, despite a phony report. Gossip Cop can debunk this claim. We're told there's no truth to it.
According to RadarOnline, Pitt has been despondent throughout his divorce from Angelina Jolie, but Moore has now stepped in with a spiritual solution. An alleged insider tells the site, "Brad was looking for something to raise his spirits. Demi suggested Kabbalah could be the answer!"
The unreliable blog further contends that Moore has a secondary motive for introducing the actor to the mystical practice. The supposed source says the actress has "been crushing on Brad for years" and she believes Kabbalah will bring them closer. "She would love to date him, and now that he's free, that may finally happen," adds the questionable tipster.
But this story seems to have been concocted simply because Moore and other celebrities have been known to embrace Kabbalah in the past, and some unverified gossip romantically linked her to Pitt decades ago. Gossip Cop is told by a source close to the situation, who wasn't authorized to comment on the record, that the actress hasn't now gotten Pitt involved in the religious practice. E! Online also examined this rumor about Pitt, and similarly reported, "He is not trying Kabbalah and the story is made up."
Oddly enough, this isn't the first time Gossip Cop has had to debunk a bogus report surrounding the two movie stars that dealt with a similar subject matter. We previously called out RadarOnline's sister publication, the National Enquirer, for making up a story about Pitt and Moore practicing "sensual yoga" together. This latest variation on the theme is similarly fabricated.
As for the blog's assertion that the actor has been inconsolable lately, that simply isn't the case. Sources recently told People that Pitt is "in a better place" these days, despite still going through divorce proceedings and custody negotiations. Pitt himself said in his GQ cover story last year that he's improving himself through therapy and a healthier lifestyle. There was no mention of Kabbalah in the article.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
