Brad Pitt did not go on a date with a mystery woman in Italy last week, despite an inaccurate tabloid report. Gossip Cop can debunk the bogus story. It's entirely untrue.
Last week, the movie star was spotted visiting an art exhibition in Venice alongside an unidentified woman. This has prompted NW to make up a story about the woman being Pitt's new love interest. An alleged source tells the outlet, "She was introduced to him through mutual pals and they've been hanging out a ton and having fun. Brad's quite taken with her." The supposed tipster goes on to say there's "something special about this lady," but it remains to be seen if she's "a real keeper or just a beautiful moment in the Italian sun."
Tellingly, even though the magazine maintains Pitt has been "hanging out a ton" with this woman, and that she's a "real keeper" and there's "something special" about her, it does not know her name. And that's because the tabloid's report is a complete fabrication. Pitt wasn't on a date with the unidentified woman. Gossip Cop has learned from the actor's spokesperson that this "special lady" was simply a tour guide, who in involved in the Venice art scene.
Additionally, the movie star wasn't even alone with the female tour guide. Pitt was visiting the Venice Biennale art exhibition along with his artist pal Thomas Houseago and several other friends in the art world. The woman was showing the entire group around the exhibition.
It should be noted, People magazine reported last month that Pitt "is more focused on being a dad than on dating." The publication, a much more reliable source for celebrity news than NW, further noted the actor "seems happy to focus on himself and his kids."
Meanwhile, NW is the same tabloid that Gossip Cop busted earlier this year for making up multiple stories about Pitt dating Charlize Theron. The two stars have never been a couple, despite the outlet pushing that phony narrative for a while. We also called out the magazine back in January for falsely claiming Pitt was in a "secret romance" with Julia Roberts, who happens to be happily married.
Last October, Gossip Cop busted the outlet for wrongly reporting Pitt was secretly dating Jennifer Garner. It should be fairly clear at this point that the unreliable tabloid has zero insight into the movie star's love life. Instead, the magazine arbitrarily links Pitt to different women on a whim.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
