Brad Pitt is not dating Monaco “princess” Charlotte Casiraghi, despite a completely inaccurate report. Not only are the actor and royal not dating, but she isn’t even a princess. Gossip Cop can exclusively set the record straight.
“Brad’s Huge News: I’m In Love With A Princess,” reads a headline on New Idea’s website. The Australian magazine goes on to claim Pitt and Casiraghi “have been quietly dating for more than a month after meeting through mutual friends.” Casiraghi, however, the daughter of Princess Caroline of Hanover, is not a princess herself. Regardless, the unreliable outlet goes on to say she and Pitt “took their love public last week” when they both attended the LACMA Art and Film Gala in Los Angeles.
A so-called “onlooker” tells the tabloid, “No one could believe it when we saw them together. There have been rumours circulating for weeks that Brad has moved on with a new woman, but no one was ready to see him hand-in-hand with royalty from Monaco.” Of course, there’s zero photographic evidence showing Pitt and Casiraghi holding hands at the gala. Still, the outlet’s alleged source goes on to say the two were “inseparable” at the event and the actor was “besotted” with his “new princess.”
“[They have] so much in common,” adds the seemingly phony insider. “They’ve both got kids and have been through high-profile splits, and Brad feels he can talk to Charlotte about anything. Especially when it comes to his kids and his struggles to see them.” However, this bogus narrative seems to have been concocted simply because Pitt and Casiraghi both happened to have attended the same event, albeit separately.
Gossip Cop checked in with a mutual pal of ours and Pitt, who exclusively assures us the actor and royal simply aren’t a couple. In fact, we just busted last week’s cover of New Idea, which featured another false story about the actor. The magazine falsely claimed Pitt “explained why” Angelina Jolie “won’t let him” see their children, but he never publicly discussed such an issue. This latest report about his nonexistent relationship with a princess is similarly bogus.
