A new report claiming Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have a “pact” not to diss each other in front of their kids is simply made-up. Gossip Cop can expose this fake news.

HollywoodLife, which routinely publishes bogus stories about the estranged spouses, now claims to have “exclusive details” about their supposed agreement not to talk negatively about each other. A supposed “source” tells the site, “They’ve made a pact to not talk badly… either in public, or in front of the kids, and they’re sticking to it.” But Gossip Cop looked into this story, and we can set the record straight.

Although it’s true that the estranged spouses don’t bad-mouth each other in front of their children, it’s not because they formed a “pact” agreeing not to do so. Gossip Cop has been assured on numerous occasions that no one in either star’s trusted inner-circle is speaking to HollywoodLife about them. Simply put, the site appears to have concocted a theoretical story based on speculation without actually talking to any insiders.

Of course, Gossip Cop has exhaustively called out the site for purporting to have “exclusive” information about the former couple from so-called “sources.” We recently busted the webloid for making up phony details about Pitt missing his kids. Shortly before that fabrication, we debunked the outlet’s tall tale about Jolie ruining Pitt’s Father’s Day plans. The site’s latest article, seemingly filled with phony quotes and guesswork, has no more insight into the estranged spouses’ private life.
