Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie‘s kids are not demanding that their parents build them their own zoo, despite a ridiculous tabloid report. Gossip Cop can debunk the phony story. We’ve learned it’s completely made-up.
According to the National Enquirer, the ex-couple’s six children are begging for their own personal animal kingdom and both stars are on board with the idea. “The kids have always loved animals, but lately it’s gone to another level,” a supposed insider tells the outlet.
The alleged source goes on to say that Pitt has agreed to “install a huge aquarium housing all kinds of fish that’s as close to their natural habitat as possible,” adding that he’s enlisted his staff to help him with the project. The anonymous tipster further contends that Jolie is also going along with the plan, but only as a “tactic to gain an upper hand with the kids.”
“Brad sees this as a way to rebuild his relationship with his estranged kids, but Angie wants to do it to reaffirm her hold over the children,” adds the seemingly nonexistent “insider.” Gossip Cop, however, is told on the record by Pitt’s spokesperson that the magazine’s article is simply “absurd.”
The outlet hides behind an unidentified and untraceable “source” to back up its story, but Pitt’s rep tells us the movie star has no plans to build his kids their own zoo, nor have they asked for one. Unfortunately, we’re not surprised by the bogus article. The Enquirer spends a lot of time publishing fiction about the estranged spouses and their children.
Last year, Gossip Cop busted the tabloid for falsely claiming Jolie was fleeing to France with the kids amid her custody battle with Pitt. As time has proven, the actress never relocated overseas with her children. They still live with their mom in Los Angeles, while Pitt’s visitation rights have been increasing as of late.
Gossip Cop also called out the magazine last year for wrongly reporting that Jolie had lost the custody battle and the kids were choosing to live with Pitt. That clearly never happened. Negotiations are still ongoing and the actress has primary physical custody for the time being.
The unreliable outlet has no insight into the family’s situation, whether it’s related to custody arrangements or the construction of an imaginary zoo. Pitt and Jolie’s kids do have several pets, but there are no animal sanctuaries or large aquariums being built in their home.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
